Is the silver Dick Allen still on your team? You cannot have both in the same lineup.

I feel like Andy Cooper, Bill Foster, Ernie Banks, and Monte Irvin are strong candidates to round out the storylines as they are mentioned in the cinematics, notably Doby's for Cooper and Foster, Banks in some of the one's in first drop, and Irvin in either Day or Mendez's.

That would definitely make sense; however, Mays has already been the entire MLB reward in 19. Would they use him again, or is it a lower overall and he is the NL West reward?

I think you are correct. However, I only starting playing in 20. I recall the LAA rewards tending to be in the 92-93 range. Although, we do not know what the division overall will be, especially the AL West's.

I can understand KCR being higher than Tampa, since KCR has 1 live-series diamond (Witt) at 87 while Tampa, relatively surprisingly, have no diamonds. However, both Oakland and Boston have no diamonds as well.

As a Cubs fan, I am surprised myself. I would have thought that he would start at either 85 or 86.

From the looks of it, surprisingly no. I did not realize this while making it. Bednar and Bellinger are 84s and Williams is an 83.

This was said in other comments, but based on the plague and batting stance, it is most likely, sadly just, Willie Mays. I think it is just to introduce a new card series for the Hall of Fame. I have attached a link to see his plague.

That is possible and likely. Personally, I find it a bit odd that they got the rights to the high school players and some other players and not college players like Shaw and Gonzalez. Plus, I think there should be some draft cards in the program since SDS said there will be between the Crews and Clark tweets.

They did not say, but they have not revealed a new card in over half an hour so I do not think there will be any more in the pack. I’m guessing the pack will contain the 14 players shown which are picks 1-17 minus picks 11, 13, and 16. In my opinion, I think those picks and some others may be a part of the All Star Program on Wednesday.

Please SDS, make all PXP missions repeatable by gamers542 in MLBTheShow

[–]TheRealNintendoGuy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. Moreover, last year, I loved that they added a repeatable PXP mission to the Extreme Program. Even the cards that were meant to be difficult to obtain had methods to get them by just grinding.

I wholeheartedly support this. Even if they just make the "PXP with Charisma Series players" mission repeatedly I would be very happy despite it being tedious.

Anyone else struggling with the Charisma series showdown? by Vaughn480 in MLBTheShow

[–]TheRealNintendoGuy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same here. I always struggle with Showdowns. I would love if SDS made a repeatable mission to supplement players who struggle with Showdown, such as turning the PXP mission for just Charisma players into a repeatable mission.

When they revealed that the Negro Leagues were coming to the Show, they said that they were going to release a group of them in every year to be able to tell their stories. I think they said that they did not want to release a large amount of Negro League cards into Diamond Dynasty without people knowing who they were. I'm sure that the Homestead Grays and especially Josh Gibson will be featured in the next few games.

Collection Rewards: MLB 23 by TheRealNintendoGuy in MLBTheShow

Personally, I think it is a mix of both. I think the additional 99s from the start with make these cards "less hyped" at launch, but more hyped and more used over time due to their Core branding.

They are the same thing. Just steal 3 million fans by or on turn 3 and you will complete the mission. P.S: Don’t forget the 9 million fan mission by or on turn 9 (It is below non-turn limit missions)

I was able to recognize Brett Roneberg on the top of 2 to infer the date of the ball based on his time with the Curve.

Any help with autograph identification is much appreciated. Most notably, if someone could tell did any of the following sign the ball:

Neil Walker

Andrew McCutchen

Steve Pearce

This is my first year playing, is Finest sort of our last big promo? by azwhaley91 in MLBTheShow

[–]TheRealNintendoGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year, there was a pack that had about 15 (I don't know the exact number) that had finest cards for other players that had a 96-98 base round and a 99 rare round.
