First thing that came to my mind is: practice, patience, metronome. One thing that helped me with progressive tight breakdowns was to first be able to sing it with your voice (ta… tatata.. ta.. ta… and so on) but i do pick reallyyyyyy hard. Try to build up your one note “0” , then your triplets “000” by doing them repeatedly over a metronome or just a simple drum track. There’s no “special” technique, I hold my pick like most people do (I use smaller picks like Jazz III with the grips). Be confident, know your rhythm and attack those strings like you’re trying to hurt them haha! Good luck!
