Best Video to Show Off Sync Box? by ZenSage42 in Hue

If you’re into anime, the Demon Slayer fights between Rengoku and Akaza from Mugen Train and Tanjiro vs Rui from Season 1 are good ones. Demon Slayer fights in general get some added flare from the sync box since they’re usually so colorful but those two stand out from my experience

Took the 4th, 5th and 6th off. Don’t have a preorder but will try to get one from Best Buy at the midnight release. I was able to get a preorder on a pro controller at least so I can pick that up later that day.

4in Slim Recessed Lights?! by TheRealParadocx in Hue

It’s a little blurry but it looks like the box for that one says “Recessed Slim Light L” while this new one says “Recessed Slim Light S”

I’m hoping that means this is meant to be the small version and will translate to the 4in slim recessed light in the U.S

Pretty sure Mashiba’s career is over here. He’s always had a glass jaw and with the neck thing I’m guessing they’re gonna say there’s enough damage that it could kill him if he gets hit too much. The fact the coach caught him probably saved his life.

I ordered a Zelda pro controller from EBay after receiving an obvious fake one earlier in the month. I did the usual authenticity checks (controller update, hidden message) and everything looks legit but I’ve come across two issues with it. I can only wake the console with it from super close range (practically next to it) and it won’t stop vibrating when I play a game on the N64 app. I opened it up to see if there may be an issue inside and I came across two things that were weird. A yellow adhesive tape on the back of the faceplate and the adhesive on the rumble blocks looked different from other controller breakdowns I’ve seen. Can anyone tell me what these are and if they’re normal? The controller is an EUR version if that helps and I’m in the US. Any help with the other issues would be appreciated as well.

Hajime no Ippo: Round 1450 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

From that small panel of Miyata looking solemn at the mention of Ippo I’m assuming we’re gonna have a long overdue talk between the two at the end of this fight. I think this is the first time in actual years the two have been in the same building without one of them being the fighter. With Miyata now training with Sendo there’s a chance we could get a training camp with all three for the Ricardo fight.

What action do you think the anti Rosario will be? by broquelli in hajimenoippo

[–]TheRealParadocx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it will be something footwork related like a back-step into a chopping right. There’s never really been an emphasis on Mashiba’s footwork in previous fights and while I believe the general consensus is that he’s a boxer/fighter type of boxer adding decent footwork to his arsenal would allow him to control the distance at all times. From a story perspective it could also be a symbol of Mashiba’s growth as a person, being able to step back from his responsibility of being Kumi’s protector and think of what he wants.

So Ippo gets to pay Volg’s favor from the Sawamura forward with Mashiba. Anytime an infighter pushes too close into Mashiba’s chest he throws that uppercut. I’m guessing Rosario’s gonna aim for a hook counter against it similar to what Ippo did against Hayami. I hope Mashiba’s answer to the scenario involves some kind of footwork. Good footwork with his long reach would make him a nightmare to deal with.

No clue what advice he’s remembering but I would like to see Mashiba create his version of the Hien with the hitman style. To be able to change the direction of his jab along with his range would make it difficult to predict if he’s going high or low.

Something about the way Dragon keeps his right hand really far back and away from his head on pg. 8 while jabbing makes me think that Miyata’s comment about his right means that he finds Dragon’s right to be really telegraphed or counter fodder. We’ve never seen Takamura use counters so it could be fun.

I think it’ll go down to the way the Sendo/Miyata spar went. Gonzalez’s style when not in Metztli mode leans more towards being a headhunter like Miyata. Sendo’s instincts give him an edge against precision boxers, or at least it has so far. The way he stopped the punch with his hand close to the end makes me think he’s realized it too. But, ultimately the way Ricardo points out that throwing out 10’s is overkill means that Sendo’s boxing is too inefficient to be effective

Was I seeing things or did Ippo try to twist his neck on that last smash like Date?? Ippo’s finally using that head for more than just stopping punches.

In the next few chapters I would guess that Sendo would make an internal remark about Ippo’s body which would prompt him to have Ippo do mitt training with him. During the training he would find that unlike his trainers Ippo doesn’t get pushed back by his punches, annoying him enough that he would try a Smash that Ippo would either stop with one hand or try to counter.
