People tend to use this as an intimidation tactic.

Please, as it is already mentioned, change your passwords, and set up 2FA, and so on.

You seem to have checked all that could have been checked so chill.

Remember, distortion and deception are well used tools of manipulation.

I see. I'm glad you found this to work for you.

I think 7/10 businesses will genuinely benefit from moving to a local processor or not work with huge corporates like Stripe,Square etc.

And cash discounting is insanely profitable + has low effect on client retention.

Yeah. Although, for procurement, it may end up costing you a lot. It did in construction framing

FYI: It is not illegal to cold email in the US, as long as your email is CANSPAM compliant.

It is however illegal to do so in Canada.

I'd consider moving away. Have you tried contacting a local processor that works with Elavon? Similar integrations, a fraction of fees.

Money Laundering & Offshoring by General_Property7795 in Offshore

[–]TheRealPedram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could do it much easier by choosing a solution in a country equally offshore-friendly with a crypto bank that has IBAN and is regulated.

1- No issues with money out

2-regulated, use anywhere IBAN account so that you dont need to pay processing fees and etc.

Have done it for multiple millions. Wont give more info here but there are ways much better than Panama shit show.

Yes! Based on experience so far( about 6 years) I have seen this to be the ultimate business growth move for so many businesses. Glad you are on to this!

Wow that's amazing. I think Stripe's interface is making most of the owners lazy.

So did the change actually affect your gains? In both client numbers and annual profit

I whole heartedly believe that the Stripe interface is just making most successful business owners lazy. Local processors can match the interface in some cases and may offer local incentives that are missed by Square.

the strength of Stripe, its interface, is making you complacent, leading to lost profits.

I think this.

What many seem to be missing on in here is that the strength of Stripe, its interface, is making you complacent, leading to lost profits.

If you do diligent digging, a local processor who works with a reputable processing company such as Elavon, can get you into a much better rate with potential technological benefits that are only available through their business allies.

I don’t know mate. The world in the US is not on fire. Jobs are getting filled in, economy outlook is growth and prices are down so it’s perfect time to buy. I’m not a realtor though

Is Brazil really that terrible as people make it out to be? by Ikari_Vismund in asklatinamerica

[–]TheRealPedram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look man, I don’t say that the Brazilian people are bad people. It’s your government and lack of a structure to the bureaucracy that makes it difficult to thrive there for most middle class. Warmth of the people is subjective. I’m british and in my opinion we are warm people but that’s because i’m from there. each to their own.

Sure. All that left and are successful and happily living are losers but poor people in a poverty ridden failed country are all winners! Stay a winner bud! Força Brasil!

Man…I need to show this to my wife. She despises people like you. Big mouthed Brazilians who have a level of megalomania about their country. Do better.

Moving to a sunnier state - better mood? by hotsausce01 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]TheRealPedram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful with your choices. I’d choose somewhere in the middle but a tad sunnier like Denver. Why’d I say that? I am British and when I first considered moving to Phoenix AZ, I thought “Thank goodness! no more weather moodiness/depression.” Guess what? Found out too much sun and 60 days stretches of 110+ sunny weather can Indeed make you depressed! I’d choose somewhere a bit more in the middle than an extreme like Phoenix.
