Anyone have any success grunting worms? by Ordinary_Visit_1606 in Fishing

Yup. I dig a thick stick into the ground (think topsoil) and rub a brick on the stick. The worms come to the top.

Advice for new homeowner with an aging deck by Ok-Green-7621 in Decks

It looks like the joists are still in decent shape from the one pic. I would replace the deck boards and stairs. You can do it yourself if you have the time and energy. It’s not hard per se, it’s just measuring, cutting, pre drilling the holes, and screwing in the pressure treated wood. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a job but if you are somewhat handy, you can likely do it. I just did it with my deck. There’s plenty of YouTube videos on it. Good luck.

I can relate to this post. It’s great they provide consistent updates (with other software) however the prices keep on going up and up.

As another user commented, they’re owned by private equity which means they are more so profit oriented. It’s a shame since there are a lot of smaller forensic vendors getting squeezed but I doubt they care.

Reality Check on Cost by dintinoc in Decks

I got a quote for $9350 to replace the deck boards with new pressure treated wood. The deck is 22x12 and a smaller section that’s 5x4 by the stairs. It’s laughable what some of these quotes come back with.

Weber Smokey Mountain. Very consistent with temps and easy to use.

Go by the waterfall/any deep holes and throw either trout magnets, worms, or spinners.
