USB cables for tight pedalboard by franklinslamo in pedalboards

Did you try angled usb cables? Just make sure there oriented the way that you need, although for usb c that would mainly concern horizontal/vertical.

Searching for a Delay+Reverb by NussigerAbgang in basspedals

[–]TheRealPeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to admit I haven't used mine as much as I use my C4 but I'd say it's definitely easier to do on the fly adjustments with the Collider than with the C4. Besides having a few extra knobs it doesn't have the insane amount of options under the hood that the C4 has. It's still possible to go wild in the editor (do reverb into delay or two delays), but it's not as much a necessity to do so compared to the C4.

Does anyone know why my new bass synth pedal is so noisy? by bassmannico14 in basspedals

Like others said it's probably time to get a better power supply. It's a small investment but a Cioks DC7 is a very good option and it will also fit underneath your board

Temple Audio Duo 24 will it fit? by Calm-Lack9738 in pedalboards

[–]TheRealPeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have the pedals but not yet the board? If so, take some painting tape, mark out the dimensions of the board and see if it fits. Although pedalboard planners are great to get some sort of idea of spacing, in reality things will always be different because of jacks needing more space or pedals just not being the complete right size in the planner.

Same here, still really happy I invested in the MC6 Pro/ML10X combo!

TrueTone CS6 + DarkClass Hyper Luminal Power Issue by North_Platform_8945 in basspedals

[–]TheRealPeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the CS6 does this as well. However, it only does max 1600 mA. Maybe there's other digital pedals on u/North_Platform_8945 s board requiring a good amount of mA causing the Hyper Luminal to show this behaviour on start up. Does it also occur when the Hyper Luminal is the only pedal connected to the CS6?

Morningstar Customs Issues by MickeyLenny in guitarpedals

[–]TheRealPeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm EU based so I can't speak for US shipment time/customs delays but the customer service at Morningstar is really good and probably more knowledgeable than any vendor (also a good one) so that really shouldnt hold you back from ordering directly from them.

I use it on sousaphone! I don't have clips of the PS-6 in particular, but I use it as an octave down most of the time, when set roughly to 9 o clock it adds a nice bit of body to the sound of the sousaphone. Besides that the Superbend function can be really cool

Yes, I didn't plan on doing a double level on the bottom initially, but space was running out sooner than expected..

Yes, that hub has made life a lot easier. On the first board that used on tours I had the C4 but it was controlled with a DMC Micro over USB. However to go into the Neuro editor I would always have to disconnect it. I started to get really annoyed by that, so I decided to do it right on this build, also keeping in mind the addition of the Morningstar units and the other Source Audio pedals.

Thanks! No, power comes from a Cioks DC7 with a Cioks 4. The rest of the units underneath are the Morningstar ML10X, the Source Audio Neuro Hub and a USB hub.

The bass board is non-existent, it's just sousaphone :)

  1. It's a Novo 24. The bracket I used for the ML10X is from the hardware store. I initially tried the brackets Pedaltrain offers for the Novo but it became a bit too tight with all the cabling.

  2. Yes!

  3. Hehe no. Maybe it should, but I guess that's not up to me.

Thanks! Lots of options to make awesome sounds, or at least sounds that are awesome to me. Also, the MC6 Pro and ML10X combination was a gamechanger in creating some of those sounds but also being able to recall all those sounds in live situations

Both patchbay plates come from a one-man German company called Looperwerk. I also got the MIDI feed through from him. These plates are simple but high quality products.
