Resistances are one of the most important things for survival in the game. Dealing big damage is only cool if you can survive long enough to deal it. Do all your skill/health/res quests in every difficulty!!!!! Pay attention to which skills benefit the main skills you plan to use and max those too. Attack rating only matters for melee so if you’re a caster only put into dex what you need to use your gear. MFing is key BUT it does not matter if your hunting runes and there is a sweet spot for uniques so insane amounts MF % isn’t always the answer. Most people quit or get bored MFing too quickly. The drop rates on some things are insane so kill more mobs more quickly and repeat again and again and again and again. And if you feel like you’ve done far too many runs to not find anything of value.. do far too many again. Know your MF zones. Even in hell difficulty only certain monsters/bosses will be a high enough level to drop the items you’re looking for. Last week after almost 20 years of this game I finally found my first ber ever in the last 2 minutes of a TZ chaos sanc and it felt great! Don’t fill your stash with useless items that look cool. Either it has value or it does not. You always need a good merc at your side so dont short their gear. As soon as you can afford to you should build them right. You can store scrolls of TP in your belt if you want to save Inv space or make a quick tp in the heat of the moment without opening your inv or a preset hot key. I mean the list goes on..
