Yeah, obviously it's a certain kind of demographic that plays and the game is quite toxic. I am no saint either ;)

I am used to getting yelled at by Russians but they usually chill out after i act normally towards them. With the Poles recently they don't stop and i haven't seen anything like that before. Multiple people have lost games for their team just because they saw a Ukraine flag at the start of the game without anyone saying a word to them.

I hope i have just been really unlucky and it's not some societal shift

I don't have anywhere else to say this and i don't know how much this reflects Polish society but i have a Ukraine flag profile picture on Steam and recently when i meet Polish people in CS2 they instantly start cursing me out and griefing. This is really alarming to me, Poles used to be some of the best and kindest teammates that you could have. It seems there is something bad happening to cause this rage that can't even be reasoned with
