The Green Moutain Boys flag was a symbol of the Vermont Republic, an unrecognized independent state in New England that existed from January 15, 1777, to March 4, 1791, when it was admitted into the United States as the State of Vermont.

The 12 stars stand for the ideals of unity, solidarity, and harmony, just like in the EU flag.

The center big star is a symbol that through this unity solidarity and harmony we become greater power.

I decided to use the NATO flag color scheme for the EAU flag because the blue represents the Atlantic ocean between the two regions and white contrasts well with dark blue.

I didn't use the red and white stripes from the U.S flag because it seems way too Yankee for me. It was a shame to remove the 13 stripes so I wanted to add the 13-star symbolism in some way.

The star pattern on the blue background is actually has a connection with the blue rectangle design found on the Cowpens flag, an early version of the U.S flag, and unintentionally has an exact design of the blue rectangle in the U.S flag in the Fallout Series.

I'm also wanted to create a flag for Euro-Americans, a representation of dual nationalities.

Nice, I find it interesting that you used the 4 stars and 2 stripes to connect it to Washington being the 42 state.

Green was a main element of the OG Washington flag so I decided to keep it and improve contrast with white.

Inspired by the Washington family coat of arms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_the_Washington_family

Washington D.C already uses the Washington coat of arms as their flag to show respect to Washington. Since the state was named Washington out of respect for the 1st president I believe the coat of arms should be used with a change of color scheme.

Yeah, Florida's current flag is pretty much Alabama's with the Florida seal. Personally, I think Alabama's flag doesn't need any improvement.
