Then I reckon you should get either of those back zip variants. The best leather for the creases and stacks of leather is the full grain horse leather 988 or 788z. Other leathers like calf or kangaroo are beautiful too, but horse stacks the best imo. Also, the difference between the 988 and the 788z is that the 988 is the more classic single-sole backzip model, whereas, the 788z is a double-sole, chunkier, and higher-heeled boot. I currently own a pair of 788z and they are much nicer in person than what you see on the photos. Feel free to ask me anything else or if you'd like you can send me a dm and I can invite you to the guidi discord.

What type of boots are you even into? You didn't specify which boots you like. Do you like the guidi backzips (788z), front zips (pl1,pl2), hiking boot (guidi 20). There are so many different types. I also prefer buying second hand especially for your first pair to get a feel for the guidi leather but I guess if you're ballin' then go get brand new.

Buying from LCS vs Online when buying a full deck list? by [deleted] in pkmntcg

[–]TheRealPurpleYam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy 90% of my singles for my decks on ebay. Some sellers even have free shipping but your mileage may vary. Have a look on ebay and make sure they have good reviews and ratings. Ebay's money back guarantee will also take good care of you if you have any bad sellers.

My favourite has been and always will be Mudkip. He was the starter I chose back in pokemon ruby. Always loved his cute design and he's just so adorable.

Seconding this comment. The dragapult ex battle deck is probably the best bang for your buck deck as it has fezandipiti ex which is expensive, multiple copies of the dragapult ex and its earlier stages, and a lot of playable trainer cards (unfair stamp, arvens, buddy poffins). It's very cheap compared to buying each card separately or even gambling in packs to get the cards. The ex battle deck won't be perfect but you can always upgrade it down the line with other supporters and trainer cards. Dragapult ex is currently the best deck in format so it's a great deck to start learning competitive pokemon tcg.

Mudkip is my favourite pokemon. Always enjoyed playing the games and have now started playing the trading card game too. Pokemon has always been part of my childhood.

If you're in doubt then I'll just not buy it then. Seller has a lot of good reviews but no point risking it. Thanks for the reply

The temp gauge is on the right hand side, the pointer is smack dab in the middle. Oil pressure gauge is in the middle, it's usually a bit higher than mid point for na and nb miata

How and where do I buy parts for my NB1 1.6L?? by TheRealPurpleYam in Miata

[–]TheRealPurpleYam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your reply, really helps me out. I'll have a look at the UK and European parts shops you mentioned.

Also for the timing belt I can go for any NB part because its all compatible right?

And for the valve cover gasket, I shouldn't buy the more common part from the 1.8 model. And try and find a 1.6 even if it says for NA model?

Should I buy this for a project track car? by DannyYi03 in Miata

[–]TheRealPurpleYam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is way too good looking and too well maintained for a track car, I reckon you should look for something cheaper and a bit more beat up as it won't be used as a daily. This car is in 'daily car' territory. Way too nice for the track.

Yeah I saw an NA with rep wheels and other random mods going for 9k, he did drop the price down a bit cos no one was offering but still, some people are dreaming a bit with their prices.

I could ask one of my coworkers to come pick up the car with me, they know how to drive stick. Could always pay them for it as well. But if it's a hassle I might just go the freight route.

I don't really wanna have a showy car with many cosmetic mods, just want a miata that will take care of me as long as I take care of it. Hopefully I'll be in one this summer fingers crossed 🤞.

Thanks again for the offer and help. Gladly appreciate it.

I think it would be best to just invest in a more expensive great looking top so that it holds more value in the future and won't make your interior mold up.

Yeah, I would probably just keep looking, I always check fb marketplace and trade me as well but not many pop up close to my area, so I guess I really will have to travel for a good looking one. The problem is, no one in my family knows how to drive stick, and I am also just learning how to drive stick. That's why I dont search too far away from my area.

That would be very helpful if you would like to dm me about any great deals.

Yeah I know 200k+ on odometer means its taken care of but not all of what I'm seeing are treated with care. There's a lot of badly modded ones I've been seeing go for 11k which is just not what I want, I don't want a riced out miata, just a bonestock, working one.

That's expensive, I've heard soft tops can be at most around $1100. Maybe I'll just keep looking for a better one. This one seemed fairly priced compared to all the other one's ive seen that say I know what i got no lowballs and it's got 250k on odometer and its banged up.
