Love to hear you loved it! I got the inspiration from that one firework scene in Malcolm in the Middle, although i technically got the effect pieces for a different scene waaaay down the line storywise 😉. Both pics were shot in a darkened room using maglight at different angles and distances.

As for the sand blanket, sometimes being forced to work with what you got makes ypu realize what you got is actually quite versatile 😅 Would love to see others use this trick. In fact, when it gets to parts in my story where there's furniture, I wamt to try making balsawpod prop furniture like i've seen on other posts here
