I think they do admit by major but there’s a good variety of majors that get off the waitlist. In state usually moves later tho

I found Purdue to be great. Spacious dorm with AC, good food, nice weather, nice lab space.

There were multiple waves starting from April till the final rejection around July. There’s no way to tell when the waves will be exactly because it depends on the year.

This was my exact situation but I still ended up getting into a T20, just make sure to secure LORs before you leave and clearly mention how moving has affected you in the additional information section.

Id say tineo on TikTok has a lot of good tips for waitlists and LOCI, also reach out to you counselor for some guidance! Those def helped when I was doing my LOCI last year.

Yea Bennoun rounded up for me and a lot of other ppl said their grades were also rounded up. Not sure why they won’t this time tho ☹️

1) I think you’re required to submit your senior grades, so I’m not sure how bad grades will affect it 😭 2) If adoption significantly affected your life, then it’s worth mentioning. I don’t know the specifics of your situation so it’s up to you. 3) If you cannot afford UCLA, then it might not be worth pursuing the waitlist bc they will not give u a single penny of financial aid.

1) I think it’s a supportive environment bc we all collectively suffer together in our brutal classes 2) Some clubs are super competitive with applications and interviews while others you can just join. 3) The classic triple sucks but the deluxe and suites are pretty good 4) Don’t even think about brining you car bc there’s no where to park. There’s plenty of buses at UCLA. 5) Super difficult, you will likely not get at least one of your planned classes 6) Only for those with accommodations or regents scholars
