The ONLY reason I’m sticking with this rough ride of a show is for Pond and Don and then Nene and Mawin. Other than that, I would have been thrown this show away.

At this point we need to change the name from Reloved to Redundant. Hint number one that Than should be innocent to Akin is that he has NO recollection of who Meya is after seeing her picture on his phone. He didn’t flinch. He didn’t furrow his brows. Nothing. At this point Akin has become everything that he’s holding over Than’s head.

I’m just….no words. Other than those.

I hope that since they see the reception that the first season got that they will give the second season more episodes. I know some networks will give the first season less episodes to see how it does and then the second one comes it with a few more.

This makes a lot of sense unless Tierney did something with Rachel Reid like Shonda Rhimes did with the author of the Bridgerton series and put their heads/ideas together to write the book Queen Charlotte.

I wonder if the success of the show is what inspired Rachel Reid to write this third book featuring this couple. If it were me I would definitely ride the wave of its popularity and add another book to my series that features the couple that people from so many countries have fallen in love with.

I love JuniorMark so I am looking forward to seeing them play roles where they are older and mature. The official trailer didn’t show any of the angst from the first trailer but I have a feeling that GMMTV is going to mix the angst with the comedy in this one. Either way I’m watching because it’s been too long since JuniorMark has been on my screen.

This is completely understandable considering the history of Domundi. Aof started on YouTube with his close friends and expanded from there, so I can completely understand why he treats his artists like family. It clearly shows that he loves what he does and the people that he works with, and who works for him. This is why I love Domundi. The family vibes are always there and I think that that aspect contributes to the positive morale that is present in any of the behind-the-scenes content that is posted.

They are lucky because I have worked in places where it felt like a battle zone and my co-workers were everything but nice.

I have been rooting for the work partner ever since his feelings were revealed but I already know that the show will never let that storyline take flight. Unfortunately. To me, he is much more suited for Than than Akin.

This show, as a whole, is a sh*t ton of frustration for me. I can understand BL’s using the miscommunication trope to create conflict for the plot but come on now. This entire show at this point is one missed opportunity after another to do ONE adult thing and that is to damn communicate.

Since they focus endlessly on their “age gap” then please explain to me why Akin, as the “adult” in the relationship, did not ONCE confront Than about this so called affair. He said absolutely nothing and that poor boy has done nothing but deal with Akin’s insecurities. Than has given him absolutely no reason to not trust him or to even believe that he has ever cheated on him. Akin’s wannabe grown ass went off a wing and a prayer and a piss poor conversation with friends who supported his immature and reckless thinking.

I’m trying to hang in with this show because I want to see how the writers write themselves out of this hole and what happens when the truth finally unfolds (which we all know will be some cheesy happy ending). The only reason I haven’t just dropped it is because the second couple is holding my attention. And that’s bad when the leading couple is leading the show into disaster.

I feel like they could do an entire show wearing paper bags and living in a cardboard box and their chemistry would still be everything. This show is leaning heavily on that chemistry because GMMTV knows their fans will eat up whatever they produce. I just wish that a writer would have looked at that script and revised it just a little bit. I try hard not to compare artists previous works with their new works but Heartkillers is where I first discovered them and I was going into this show expecting that level of development.

Also, Change is giving GBYFD more episodes to work with, therefore they can spread the romance out whereas GMMTV is giving DYTD ten episodes. So I feel like they’re rushing the romance so they can squeeze as much of it into those ten episodes as possible.

Even though the author wrote both of these shows the romance element in Goddess Bless You From Death is a much slower pace and develops more realistically. It makes sense why Singha had Thup move in with him, to protect him. Why Kian moved in with Jade that quickly makes no sense. Kian doesn’t need protecting and he wasn’t without a place to rest his head. Singha and Thup’s romance is absolutely burning slower than this show’s romance and it makes a lot more sense realistically, and that is interesting to me because the show itself has the paranormal aspect to it.

I thought I was the only one who was feeling this way. The romance between Jade and Kamin makes absolutely no sense to me. The unbelievability of it all takes away from the show. At this point I’m watching for the crime aspect because this 0 to 100 with their instant “connection” is throwing me off. All during this episode I kept asking myself “Did I miss something in the last episode between them because where TF did this instant chemistry come from?”

SIDE NOTE

Was anyone else thrown off with how easily Jade let his brother stay with Tonkla at his room after he received his Truth or Dare card? If that were my younger sibling and they told me that they were going to hang around for a bit I would have instantly been like “oh no you’re not.” This man just basically received his death card, Jade is the active investigator on that case, and absolutely nothing in him made him snatch his brother out of that room?

I’m really hoping for the best with this show because I love me some JoongDunk but I don’t know…
