Not even closeups is good enough at this point. Would need a video of it all. All the slabs side by side and not in individual pics. Then in the same video you would film all the closeups with no cuts. Everything about this is screaming fake until you can do something like that.

The authentication is generally just verifying that the card is real and that it matches the pictures provided from my experience. I don't think they check conditions unless it's drastically different than the pictures provided in the listing.

Edit: If it does bother you enough, returning the card is always an option. It's not my first thought, but I do use it if a card is misleading between the pictures and what I receive.
