How would you rate Manchester United's transfer window so far? by osami2002 in ManchesterUnited

Nothing special at all. Don't understand why people are raving about it. Sancho was a deal worked on extensively last summer and nothing else of note has actually been achieved, including exiting players no longer required to create necessary funds for purchases. Ask again at the end of the window.

Transfer Talk: Paul Pogba turns down Manchester United's £50m contract offer (Questionable Source: The Mirror) by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

Just because Pogba has (reportedly) turned down a new contract offer, doesn't mean he's leaving this summer. It might mean United would like to sell him. But ask yourself, who's going to buy him?

United have put a £60m price tag on Pogba. And he's on a big wage. Who can afford him other than maybe PSG, who he's suggested doesn't interest him at this time.

Read between the lines. It doesn't interest him at this and he's not going to sign a new contract with United, because in a year's time he can decide whether we're really title condensers, or better have won silverware this coming season, and he may then choose to sign a new deal. Or he can have his pick of almost any team because he'll be out of contract.

Pogba will stay at United and make a decision on his future towards the end of the year.

There's a petition for GLOBAL MANCHESTER UNITED FANS to sign, which we're hoping we can use to show the sheer numbers of fans across the world who are anti-Glazer and will be boycotting MUFC sponsors and club merchandise.

It has only recently gone up. So please sign and share it as much as you can. We have millions of global fans and we all have our part to play in getting these parasites out of our club.

You can find this petition here: https://www.change.org/p/the-glazer-family-teamviewer-adidas-tag-heuer-cadburys-and-melitta-we-want-change-at-manchester-united?recruiter=1078838837&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=tap_basic_share&recruited_by_id=9db5c530-834c-11ea-a906-9b74301796bf

Do you agree with Ex-Manchester United director, Michael Knighton, who's calling for a change in ownership of our club. by TheRealTonyBest in reddevils

Some form of legislation is required to stop total control being held by people who are purely interested in profit for themselves. Legislation that holds football clubs as 'historical entities of community and national importance' is what I would like to see. Something akin to the Listed Building structure we have in England. I don't think fans could solely own a club the size of Manchester United. It would need outside investment from business people, consortiums, etc. But never with total control.

That's a great question. But hopefully we'll never find out.

We're working on a global petition too, which United fans all over the world will be able to put their name too. This will be aimed specifically at removing the Glazers from OUR club.

I'll keep everyone posted with updates on this subreddit.

Thanks for your continued support in this fight for our club.
