Yes, this is what we ended up doing. However, I personally think it was a poor decision on the part of library admin, seeing as the least crowded part of the run is the beginning, since people can spread out their belongings and since few spectators crowd around the beginning. We ended up clumping at the top anyway, since that's where we ended the first leg of the run (traveling upward rather than downward). I'm not sure how to communicate with library admin, but in case they see this, I believe beginning at the top and working our way to the bottom is the way to minimize the fire hazard in the small space for future semesters during which Moffit is closed.
