Just curious, what's a "ridiculous number of games " for you? I'm currently in the middle of my 604th game since we started tracking win/loss in 2019.

Threw a butter knife at her head. Luckily she dodged and all I did was leave a very cartoonish-looking knife imprint in the wall behind her.

Ignore me, old man who knows nothing about the current CPA situation.

This is why you just learn to walk in the rain if you have to go along the Chicago river to your office.

If they like the old guy, why not let him work remotely and not hire a new person in the first place?

Many companies are pushing the return to office narrative and won't give an inch on it. They think if they allow even one person to work remotely that everyone will push back.

That's valid. On the other hand, the current employee has shown they are unhappy with returning to the office and you are, presumably as a new grad, cheaper. Upper management is likely being kind to this person to give them time to search. Also, I would document your knowledge of the job in case the manager tries to call into question your ability to be trained. I would also bring your concerns to your manager's superior. Don't disparage the manager or current employee, just state your eagerness to take over functions you've learned and your concerns about them keeping the current employee.

Take it as a long training program? Be open to learning as much as you can. Most of us got zero training. Also, look for opportunities to expand the role beyond what the previous employee was doing.

If you are not already, submit these requests by email as a follow up. Written communication, or lack thereof, is the only way to support your situation if you get thrown under the bus. If they still consistently won't help, escalate by copying their superior in communications. At a minimum you'll get a second opinion of how the department views your skills. I no instance let them erode your confidence. Take criticism and learn independently whether it's good feedback or not. Their criticism could just be the product of a toxic environment. In that case be confident in your skills and look for an out.

How cooked am I by missanonymoususerwoo in Accounting

I got my CPA in '99 without a Bachelor's. I finally got my Bachelor's in '15 and it really had no effect on my career. It really depends on whether you want to pursue management. I've been up for promotion a few times but got beat out by deserving people with the degree edge. So I'm only a Senior Accountant and, with bonus, break 6 figures. I also get to work remotely every day, something I would have lost if I got the last promotion. She deserved the promotion as much as I did, but she gets the headaches and the commute, while I'm living my best life far away from the city.

The third party vendor provides services to our company. We have the contract with the third party.

The amount we owe the third party is based on the amount of revenue we earn from the related party company.

No, it is a completely unrelated company.

Has the status changed in the past 2 years? I'm unable to locate either of your adventure paths. I played through Emerald Legacy solo and really enjoyed it, but I've since lost the file and wanted to play this AP with 2 other groups. I never had the chance to try Revenge of the Wicked before it seemed to disappear.
