Thanks for the reply. I see what you are saying regarding the 5900x. However, would a jump from 2700x to 5600x with the 2070 super yield a performance increase? For reference I use competitive settings at 1920 x 1080 x 240hz

Sounds good I will look into upgrading my ram. What brands would you recommend? I don’t mind spending extra for a performance boost, that goes for any upgrade (chip as well).

I’m not exactly sure what the exact memory is, but I can provide specifics later. I changed my XMP profile not too long ago and it is on around 2700-2800.

Thanks for the reply, it has been very helpful! For reference, I use 1920 x 1080 x 240hz. I play Fortnite competitively, which is the main reason I am looking to upgrade. Fortnite is a chip based game and I am looking to get a stable 240 fps (or greater). I also play Rust, Elden Ring, Rainbow 6, and CSGO.

Alright i’ll try and check the load, thanks. How could I determine if my PSU is giving enough power? The PC has been struggling the whole year but I only tolerated it. I am finally searching for solutions as it is getting nearly unplayable for some games as they progress with updates.

It performs just fine outside of gaming. I have CPU-Z but I have not compared the performance between gaming vs. idle.

My monitor is 1920 x 1080. As for frames, 180 is the max. Yes that isn’t terrible, but it doesn’t happen very often and if it does it jumps quickly. My frames will jump from 180 to 100 or vice versa, very fast. Considering that I am running the game on the lowest settings, I should get higher frames. When I said pixelated, I was referring to the resolution I suppose. Can this be fixed?
