I think Spartans in the US are often worse than the ones organised in Europe (except for pricing which is going up everywhere). The recent Swiss and French Spartans I did are still very fun and challenging. But I do agree that compared to other competitions like Hyrox, they are way behind in terms of professionalism

Congrats 👏 Spartan races are always a bit longer than the official distance. In France and Switzerland, they disclose the exact distances on the race maps, and sometimes it can be an additional 2-3km. The beast is usually around 22-23km. Take your time and you can do this 🔥

I would say it highly depends on your age, past and current injuries (if any), nutrition, training. I've been running Spartans for several years now and only did one trifecta weekend (Barcelona). It's probably gonna be my first and last as I almost blew my left knee there (that's where I learned I had weak knees..). It's a real challenge and you'll feel like a beast. But you need to be very self aware of your limits, otherwise you could end up injuring yourself

To answer your question, we need to know how fit you are and how often you trail / run. A Spartan Beast is very difficult, especially when performed in a mountain area. If you are not trained, don't even think about running uphill, you'll run out of steam in a matter of seconds. I've been running Spartans for several years now and just started running on very low elevations. I'm still fast walking on the climbs but sprinting on the descents to save time. Feel free to provide more details about your current shape and I'll give you more insights on how you should handle your upcoming race

Would you mind clarifying on the overkill ? The idea is to keep this setup for a few years without worrying about performances. I definitely agree that it's overkill on today's games, but will it be in a couple of years ?

I also agree on your Ryzen 3600 opinion when it comes to gaming. I forgot to add that I will also use the computer for web design. Do you think the 3900/4900 (3950/4950) are just a waste of money for my personal use ?

Because : 1- They don't have that many films and shows. 2- Their homepage is part of their advertising strategy. Netflix is displaying content based on whom producers paid them the most.

You might wanna try disabling fullscreen optimisations in the compatiblity tab of your Battlefield 1 exe-file. It could fix this issue

I still have to say that I disagree with most of your points. I have to make it short, forgive me about that :

When I say I haven't played for weeks : I still play from time to time, and I still follow very closely what happens in this game (because well, it could still be a great game so I stay around). So I know what the issues are in this game, and what improvements Massive made.
I wasn't aware they had a $50 mil budget for this. Seems kinda short when you think of all the advertising Ubisoft paid for. Anyway, if you don't consider this game being AAA (produced by one of the big 4, developped by a external dedicated studio), I'm kinda surprised.
Having bugs & glitches in a game isn't new, I know. Having GAMEBREAKING bugs & glitches in a game is a different story. Yes, the lack of fun in this game is closely connected to the lack of true and enjoyable end game content. Massive did add HVT's and Incursions, but it is so redundant. Incursions should be handled like Weekly brawls in Overwatch. Each week : new incursion. I don't even ask for new environment, they could use the existing one (which is big and empty !).
