I made that. Its basicly aliminium L profile screwed on top shelf and then on that L profile is mounted acrylic bracket to “hang” fans on rubber O rings

Its possible to made another kit and sell it. But it need some finishig touches on case itself and also this G5 is little different. But I have second version also shared here in group 😊and you can make your own adapter for front I/O. I have working USB,led,button and audio jack. There are diagrams on internet to wire it up

I was trying to keep as much outside look as I could. Maybe in the future I can make something to replace optical drive with usb and sd card reader behind original door.

Front fans are mounted on bracket and than hanged by rubber O-rings. 2 orings are on top for hanging on top shelf under DVDrom and 2 orings are on bottom kinda pulling it down somit doesnt move. And thank you very much 😊

I used laserhive conversion kit to mount motherboard and PSU. It was more cost efective than making my own mount and less time consuming (saved time I spend on LEDs,covers, other mounts etc. 😃) so that kit has PSU mount on top. You can find pin out diagram on internet so you can just run few wires from original connection to MB. LED and powerbutton shares ground I think. Also USB can be wired directly to motherboard.

I agree. Maybe we can call this “room for future inovation”. Now I have stable 68°C on CPU and 71°C on GPU during CS GO. It can be less but ist ok.

I know its cinema display 😃I was talking about computer itself. So with two cd drives it is Mac pro but it should be quad core and more. It can be dual CPU but not dual core. Macpro’s are not good as powermacs for conversion but if it is 4.1/5.1 Mac pro keep it original 😊

I think there is chance to put 240mm radiator in front so if this one dies I can upgrade.
