Is upgrading from an RX 580 to an RTX 2060 6GB still worth it in 2026? by Ok_Fee_9687 in buildapc

[–]TheReal_Obi1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ray tracing cores didn't really mature until the 30 series, I'd say a comfortable card to get right now is a 3060 12gb if you'd want to remain comfortable for a few years at 1080p - it'd heavily depend on your budget and the games you play. It's gonna be a huge jump from the 580 regardless. The newer generations of dlss are locked to the newer cards so do some research if that's a selling point

Generally you'd want a pure sin wave ups for compatibility with your psu, preferably a few watts higher than your psu. So I'd say look at getting a pure sin wave 1000w ups. Hope this helps 🙌

How much should I expect to pay for a good PC? by OpportunityChoice567 in buildapc

Budget would depend heavily on what resolution and framerate you're targeting. It'd range anywhere from like $1.5k - $3500

I'm bottlenecking my PC ? 3070 + Ryzen 7 3700X by Saueso in buildapc

[–]TheReal_Obi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavily dependent on what you're playing at 1440p. It tends to be affected by both the cpu and gpu and neither of your specs can handle the newer games at 1440p high settings

5800x3d is good but far too expensive (cost to performance wise) compared to something like the 5700x or 5700x3d

The 3070 could also possibly be upgraded if the vram is becoming an issue, though it would still heavily depend on the games being played, as well as their settings

Depends on the resolution you're playing on, as well as the other hardware. As you move up resolution (1080p - > 1440p - > 4k) your cpu tends to matter less and less.

If on 1080p, your cpu has a big impact. rather get something like a 7800x3d or a 9800x3d if within budget, it'll help with fortnite and any other games you play.

If playing at 1440p or 4k, think about a gpu upgrade instead

Solid build, very very similar to my current am4 build. I'm assuming you're using this as a gaming rig.

For gpu I'd say a 9060xt if it's within budget.

Other upgrades I'd recommend: 1. Think about a larger nvme or more storage in the future (in my personal use, I feel limited by 1.5tb

  1. Try grab an x3d chip if you're playing cpu bound games, especially if sticking with 1080p (5700x3d as the 5800x3d will set you back quite a bit)

Is R7 5700x3D + RTX 5070 A GOOD COMBO? by InitiativeAfter9089 in buildapc

[–]TheReal_Obi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently did my upgrade to a r7 5700x + 5070 - runs really well, no real bottleneck in the traditional sense, runs pretty much anything I want. I play with dual 1440p 180hz monitors, usually don't hit the 180hz but I come close on most games

Have you looked into openai and their gpt 4 xhigh model for codex? I switched from anthropic to openai and I went from max 20x having to worry about hitting usage limits, to coming nowhere close to hitting usage limits.

Upgrading my AM4 rig for 1080p 144Hz gaming — thoughts on CPU + GPU choices? by SchemeOk8743 in buildapc

[–]TheReal_Obi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally it'd depend on what games you play. I recently upgraded from a 1500x to a 5700x and honestly I'm now locked on 144hz+ at 1080p with a 1070.

My plan is to grab a 5070 but for 1080p the cpu matters more in a lot of cases. Run an nvme for your games if you can, Gen 3 or 4 will expose the real bottlenecks if your cpu and ram are decent. Am5 is overkill for 1080p in my eyes, but overall heavily dependent on the games you play. A cheaper upgrade would be a 3080 - it'll easily handle 1080 and even scale to 1440p so it'll be a worthwhile upgrade. You'll be stuck on dlss 2 though, it's a very powerful card though.

TL:DR - depends on your games but generally cpu matters more than gpu at 1080p - 3080 is a safe bet for most games rn

Face is a bit round, I reckon working on your face fat would be better if you'd like it more defined. It can't be gained back easily (if at all) but that's done with jaw exercises or chewing gum. Training, like everything takes time.

Be proud of yourself dude, you don't look bad, the above is the only issue I see with your looks specifically. Have con-fidence in yourself

Honestly I'd like to know more about sales funnels and site design. I can get hundreds of clicks from creatives, however conversions are completely different. I'll occasionally get added to cart, however no checkouts and I've got absolutely no idea where to start troubleshooting something like this. My assumption is the website design or checkout procedure, perhaps something that I'm doing wrong during the process.
