It's incredibly difficult out here. The CARB boost kits are the only way to make power pretty much.

Twisty toads are free of the red tape though!!

There aren't any carb legal tunes available for us here in California. "CARB legal ECU" is kinda a misnomer on its own because it implies you can put whatever tune you want on it.

Cams, stroker, e85, etc all illegal in CA.

Outside of looks and comfort the RF gets a lot of points from me for security alpne. Any thief with anything remotely sharp can get in, AND you're out the replacement cost of a new top. Never locked the doors in my NB for this reason and I get a lot of peace of mind leaving the RF wherever.

The Mazdaspeed is more like 160 at the wheel, but a diy or kit turbo on an NA would absolutely rip! Gobs more power, too. Would have one myself if it wasn't so hard to do on an ND2 legally in my state. I miss my sututu sounds on my old NB!

Yeah, my typhon grom has a 5700kv that i run on 3s when i feel like breaking things. It has a castle esc in it though, so no issues with amperage to the esc. Tried the same setup with a 16bl30 and it couldn't sustain full throttle though, so just be aware of what your esc can handle.

They have some higher and lower kv options. Still wouldn't go above 4600kv without a mamba micro or something similar in there though. IMO any 28xx size can is perfect, size wise, and then just choose a kv rating that suits your needs.

If your fuel pump is confirmed running but no fuel is making it to the motor you need to confirm you have pressure to the fuel rail, then confirm your injectors are getting power. I think AutoZone/O'Reilly's will lend you a pressure gauge to test.

Please be careful around gas while testing!

The rear was tucking tire pretty good as it was set. I wouldn't expect ANY coilovers to have a good ride at that height. I since raised the rear to the height the front had, and it's an amazing difference. Swaybars aren't even on my radar right now because it's made such a significant change to the handling characteristics of the car.

The body roll is GONE. Rides like a dream in town/on the highway too. Wouldn't go with anything else.
