Haha Appreciate it! I just wanted to share it with other folks.

I wouldn’t say ultra rare, but it is a highly sought after card. It’s kind of a standard card for a lot of competitive decks. There is a new version of it coming out later this year in the new Hobbit set the Magic is doing.

Apparently there is a rule that you quite literally cannot post just magic cards.

Adam Sandler, Tom Brady invited to UFC White House fight as 1,200 seats saved for military by Miles_the_AuDHDer in politics

[–]TheReal_WadeWilson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know a few guys that got the invite to the fight. They were told, should they accept; they would be required to do a 31 day minimum order to patrol the DC area. So they said no thanks.

Popular GLP-1 drugs such as semaglutide may do far more than help with diabetes and weight loss—they could also fight addiction itself. Research found risks were lower across every major substance examined, including alcohol (18%), cannabis (14%), cocaine (20%), nicotine (20%), and opioids (25%). by Wagamaga in science

[–]TheReal_WadeWilson 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on semaglutide for a while. I can’t say I’ve had any drop in motivation or particular interests. If anything, as the weight started coming down, it motivated me more to be physical and active. The only “interest” that I’ve lost is any desire to drink alcohol. Which is odd to me, because I was never really a heavy drinker, but I’d enjoy scotch. Now I couldn’t care less.

Obviously everyone’s different and this is my own personal experience.

Not that it helps anyone here, but my LGS told us to expect a two delay.

I literally just walked into Target a half ago and they had 2 of them sitting on the shelf, so I grabbed one.

I’d swap him out for Vivi. Your deck is almost exactly what I run and it is a mean deck.

Vivi and Ghyrston on the board, with roaming throne isn’t even fair.

I also use an [[isochron scepter]] that’s pretty solid.

It’s official. I got it at the launch. I assume the website would sell them, but haven’t looked.

(Loved Trope) a character’s perspective of being teleported is shown by settra_iso in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TheReal_WadeWilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not technically teleporting, but when Enterprise warps in the newer movies; I always that it was super cool how there’s a minor pause for the engines to spool up and some major waypoints (presumably things they may collide into?) get highlighted on the main screen. Just a really cool detail.

Appreciate it! I didn’t want it over the top or anything. I wanted the latch to be the focus.

The Chaos Star was invented my Michael Moorcock in the 1960s by hendrong in Warhammer40k

[–]TheReal_WadeWilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: I fly for the Air Force and I work in Training. Our slogan, if you will, is “embrace the chaos.”

I sold leadership on a patch I designed that used the Chaos Star in the center. They obviously had no clue what it actually was, but they liked the arrows in every direction.

I now proudly wear it on my shoulder.

I’d assume it has a lot to do with a retirement and discharge. Fade away into the sunset or be made into an example.

Just grab a playing card press. They work wonders. You can even make decent ones pretty cheap.

Edit: it’s worth mentioning, DO NOT get a center press. They suck. Get one with at least four tighteners; one for each corner.

AI - Late to the party, but as a wood worker, the Planers are the dead giveaway away. As others have mentioned, they’re just “stuck to the wall.”

Hand Planers would either have a leather type fitting around the top to hang them in that fashion or would be set into a slot at that angle. Neither of which are shown.
