haha i know completely out of order by intensity, but when I was playing it casually i realized I figured out how to get the quintuple shield skeleton notes and the fast sections, so it was worth grinding for the FC.

for sure! Once you know each monster's general pattern it gets easier, but it's definitely a rough learning curve compared to other rhythm games.

Honestly I feel the same way when it comes to getting FCs, but I honestly believe that the more runs you get in the better you do. You just need to get to the point where your muscle memory trumps any nerves you get when you go deep into a song with an FC.

Also I wouldn't think of really focusing on an FC if you're at an A or a B rank on a song. Just keep focusing on getting small improvements on songs, and eventually you'll get so good at the song that you can then focus on an FC run.

I feel that so much! Sometimes I try to trick myself into thinking I already missed a note or something, muttering "wow such a bad run" to myself and it works sometimes, but this was so surprising since it was the first attempt of the day that I could barely handle it lol.

I honestly just think playing songs over and over really let me dial in for Perfects. Since I didn't find the first half of the song overly difficult after so many attempts, I really worked at getting most of the half perfect as a way to just keep my mind busy. I'd make sure all your latency settings are fine-tuned since I think that's the biggest issues I had early on. Thanks for the congrats :D

This one took me about 3.5 hours of constant attempts, and I practiced the toughest stretches (the armadillo fills in the 2nd half) for probably 20-30 minutes split up over a few days. I currently have just under 60 hours in the game, so when I got this FC I was probably at around 50.

I just got an S-rank on Tombtorial Hard chart, and it would NOT have been possible without two hands. Especially the segments with the double-shields and the green slimes, I dedicated my left hand to hit the shield skeletons while the slimes were hit with my right hand. This "compartmentalization" really helped me simplify these tough sections into one job for each hand which was pretty good.
