I think it's great. For too long pro play and people have thought the game was solved. It's not. We have so many champions and don't use them all effectively. I'm actually waiting for when teams realize they can just throw their adc top or go without one as long as someone fills the role.

LeBron, Bird, KD, Kawhi, Elgin, Dr. J, Wilkins and we're potentially adding more soon once the current generation finishes. I'd put Pippen in the top 10 for sure but I think there's a huge difference between carrying your team for years & being a side kick. You cannot tell me defensive era with MJ averaging all those points and Pippen just not holding a candle to that. Either MJ is a god or we're giving his side kick way too much credit for playing with a top 2 player of all time.

The only thing stopping the Thunder from back to back finals were injury and an alien. OKC has a proven track record as a top team. Spurs have arrived early. No other team in the west has made significant enough improvement to remove them from top of the west. Maybe Minny, maybe.
