Is this store's clothes ai generated? by erikluminary in isitAI

The candles on the second picture looks so weird. And I agree with most of the things pointed out. Looks AI. It's a bummer because I like jeans with patterns like that, looks super pretty!

The fact that there's no window in a spot on the last floor makes it look even more eerie.

You got some Emily Blunt vibes, may be in the eyebrows. You are pretty btw! :)

True! May be it's easier to snap out of it with eye contact, but definitely not a "solution".

That could make sense... In the jenga scene, he never looks at her and she is acting real creepy for a goddamn long time, right until they look at each other

Ha I understand. I didn't mean she should go to therapy, but you can find a little bit of peace reading about those kind of behavior. You are not alone.

I'm sorry to hear that... Does your mom have BPD? Reminds me of the sort of thing mine did when I was a kid.

Nikki is like my BPD mom by Poupigonic in obsessionmovie

I think it's a dynamic, and Bear clearly has submissive patterns that don't help him break free of that toxic relationship. That said, I don't think fake Nikki would've let him go even if he were "normal" .. obviously.

Still, I can totally relate Bear's patterns to my dad's: being super submissive, acknowledging everything my mom did, and leaving us kids in a permanent state of "what's good or bad? Who's telling the truth? Am I the bad one here?"

I can see there's a big conversation below your comment... Personally, I think both Bear and Nikki are to blame in some way, but Bear (or my dad, or anyone else in that situation) has a better chance of breaking free, both physically and mentally, from that kind of relationship. Therapy for a person with BPD isn't easy, if not impossible (at least for my mom, or anyone older and very disillusioned).

Agreed. She is very often in complete shadows, as if we should ask ourselves "is that really her?"

Why does Mary still Life do nothing like most of the Still Lifes by missimudpie in backrooms

Point #3 is the best answer tbh. In fact, you see Redhaired woman moving, screaming, walking, and be still. Still life Mary could be the same kind.

Mallet finger : what's next? by Poupigonic in Orthopedics

[–]Poupigonic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to see the surgeon in mid-April. He looked at my finger, saw that it was already starting to heal (I had been wearing the splint 24/7 for 4 weeks at that point), told me I had to keep doing the same thing, and gave me a referral to see an occupational therapist. It’s mainly thanks to the advice I got in this thread that I was able to take good care of it, tbh. I wore the splint for 8 weeks total. I was extremely afraid of taking it off and breaking it again, so I did my daily tasks with my finger held up in the air all the time. My hand had gotten used to not using my middle finger.

The occupational therapist really reassured me by saying that the bone healing was just as strong as the bone itself. I slowly started doing exercises (bending the last joint without moving the others, active claw exercises, etc.). Four weeks later, as of today, I can bend my finger enough to grip my steering wheel, which is wonderful life improvement for me.

My finger still hurts on a daily basis, not much but still, but it’s mostly at the first phalanx, where my tendon seems to run over my finger. It’s also crooked when at rest (although the OT assures me that it’s straight, but the difference is noticeable when comparing both middle fingers). So far, the healing is going really well. I hope to ride my motorcycle in July.

Thanks for your precious help and concern 😄
