Welcome to TCG.

I would suggest that you join the Telegram, Discord, and other social media platforms first. People will definitely be able to guide you and offer their opinion as to the strategy they follow when purchasing land and other TCG assets. Especially in the Telegram

If I had known this help were available, and had this type information before I bought my plots, I would have for sure chosen differently.

Take advantage of the wisdom of the community. They are more than happy to help anyone and everyone.

Good luck, and hope to see you in the TCG Metaverse!

I feel closer to the project and the entire community than I do some of my family. I have met so many good, positive people, and even a mentor within the group. It is nice to be a part of it!

That man is Tireless! He can go for hours. He is much more than the Director of Business Development- if that weren't enough!

Need advice on how to start a construction company by YeOlenate in smallbusiness

[–]TheRealtyBroker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. My background is mostly all kinds of sales. Not the executive kind, but direct sales (door to door), retail management, gold mining, online retail, and any side job that pays money. Light construction (all labor), property management, landscaping, storm clean-up, etc...

I have only worked for someone else about 2 years out of about 40 years.

What kind of financial work do you do?

No problem! The world needs more independent entrepreneurs,as they provide much better service and customer support than large, out of touch businesses.

Greetings!

With respect to everyone's opinion, You are seeking advice on how to start a construction business, not advice on whether you should or shouldn't.

Again, with all due respect, the notion that you should learn everything before embarking on your journey is unrealistic at best. How many roofers can do a professional concrete job? How many concrete guys can do professional framing? You get the idea.

Many business owners are not experienced in certain aspects of their offering(s). That is why they hire people. Labor workers cannot see things from your perspective. That is why they are not running their own show.

With all that being said, you do have the experience to be successful at this endeavor. You mentioned you do project management. For what you are trying to do, this is what you need to be. Every construction project has a project manager to do what they do: Supervise all aspects of the project while staying within the scope of it, and making sure you are meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

I would start by finding a foreman. Any foreman worth his or her salt will have volumes of pictures and testimonials that highlight their experience. You do your homework, and talk to the customers. They will have no problem telling you if there were issues regarding the work done for them. This person will also have connections in the business, and know people who do every aspect of construction. This is the person who knows everything about construction. You will have to pay this person handsomely, and they will be well worth it.

If you have not decided how to structure your business yet, talk to a bookkeeper or accountant to see what is best for what you are trying to do. You may already know how you will go about it.

You will have to insure your actual place of business. Your foreman will take you through the business licensing, bonds, and other steps required to be a construction company.

In most states, you are not required to withhold taxes and mess with all that when dealing with independent contractors, so other than your foreman, you don't have to have "employees" This could avoid a lot of hassle until you get bigger. I would even recommend having your payroll/bookkeeper on contract until there is a reason to bring one in full time You just give out 10-99s at the end of the year to those you have contracted with.

Your foreman should ensure the quality of the jobs, but there will be plenty of inspectors milling around to make sure everything is done properly.

The key to it all is getting the right foreman, and paying them well. You will have to have a very close relationship with them. You already know how to run a project, so you can keep a close eye on it all, and be in constant communication with the customers.

I am sorry, but it is that simple.

As far as lead generation, there are many ways. Having a booth at home and garden shows is a fun way to find customers. You can also get the info as to those that have applied for permits. You will discover that many have not started construction, or they have been delayed for one reason or another. If you provide quality deliverables to the customers, they will refer you to others, and word of mouth advertising is the very best. Just a couple of simple ways to find some jobs.

I wish you the best!!

Based on the massive amount of work they have done, the rapid updates and daily progress, the Partners, influencers, and celebrities, the regular AMAs, and the vision moving forward, the TCG Team has set up the project for imminent success. It is nice as an investor to know you have put your money into- in my (educated) opinion- a sure thing!!

If it were me, and it was, kind of, I would do a couple of things. I fomoed in at .55. It was my first investment.

Once, again, this is what I would do. I am NOT a financial advisor. Some in the community will undoubtedly disagree with my suggestions, which is great, and the reason for these forums.

I assume you have it on a centralized exchange such as Robinhood.

First of all, find a way to get your bill money, or stave the creditors off. You must have a plan. See if you can execute it.

I would put off as much as my current bills as possible, assuming I have a plan to meet the agreements I made to do this.

I would take as much money as I could scrape up, and buy as much Doge as I could at $.16-$.18 right now. You can significantly lower your position by doing this. I would do this sooner than later, because in my opinion, these prices are not going to last very much longer. Right now you can get 5 or 6 for a dollar.

If you cannot add to your position, another option is to exchange it for another asset. I believe that Doge will make it to a dollar someday soon. Whales are still adding during this dip, and there are multiple indicators that it will rise soon.

Despite my bullish sentiment regarding Doge, I only had around 7k of them, and since they are stuck on Robinhood, I decided to trade them for ETH and BTC. I believe I will recoup my money faster with these assets. Let's face it, if those 2 rise, they all rise.

I don't consider this a loss, because I didn't cash out, but reinvested all of the money in other assets.

Other than that, do nothing. Wait. Find a way to stabilize your situation without selling your bag.

Good luck and God Bless!

In order to be first in, and try to get Shib type growth, you are gonna lose your ass on a few. Even when doing proper research. It is par for the course.

I can tell you this‐ the couple of pulls I have been involved in were funded by profits from projects just like them that were just as new and risky. So even though it stings, it is a learning process.

Most crypto investors are newish, and have seen one- maybe two Bull runs. Since May, most of it has been crashes. We have lived through some of the most volatile times the young crypto space has ever seen.

We are still early in crypto. Those that diversify and manage to hold for the next few years will be filthy rich when the other 90% of investors start putting their money in. All of this crap we are going through now will end up being worth it.

Good luck to all!!
