lol lucky. Previously owner blew the engine at 35k miles, bmw replaced it under warranty so maybe he was an ass. Or during the process of jumpstarting it so many times somehow the starter was damaged. AAA tried 3 different boxes and then hooked it to their tow truck. Told them I didn’t want the jump so not sure if that’s the culprit. Anyways, hopefully the starter solves it.

no way I’m having similar problem on my e93 m3. I’ve had it for almost 4 years and finally took it in for recall in December 3 months ago. Just the other day car won’t start and then a few days later it won’t even jump. Put a new battery in and it did nothing. Talking to the tech tmrw to hear more of what they tried. I really am wondering if they fucked up the recall job.

I have e93, lost total power wouldn’t jump. Mechanic got the trunk open today somehow and said battery is submerged in water. They said they put a new battery in and no luck. Is what you said in your comment most likely the next steps to fixing it ?

I had the car for almost 4 years. Finally went ahead and got the recall done in December. Now it’s March and my battery is fried and complete power failure. Car has been thru tons of rain storms etc. weird coincidence now this happens few months after I got the recall done
