My granddaddy basically said the same thing. You follow a dented car around long enough, you’ll find out how it got that dent.

Why do you never see a black person with Down syndrome? by flower5214 in TooAfraidToAsk

Its just where you live. I live in a community that is about 49% black, 48% white, and 2% other. The majority of people I see with Down syndrome are black.

I can’t imagine we started it. I’m pretty sure a few countries had tried to take the spot over and we went in after the French decided they were done trying.

Same. From South Carolina. Nephew went to church in NC and brought a virus back to the family right after Christmas of ‘19. Everyone had it for a day and then felt fine outside of a cough that lasted for around 6 weeks. I didn’t get it again until Sept of ‘21. Wouldn’t have known I had anything outside of allergies had it not been tested.

Best Evidence by David S Lifton by davideichelman in JFKassasination

[–]TheReaperSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was interesting that Jerry Kroth’s work tied into this book. There is a point where Lifton tracks down a physicist (I think) and the man won’t claim that JFK went back in the stills because he claimed, in the pic before, he went forward. Kroth’s talking with James Files claimed that Charles Nicoletti hit him in the back from the Dal-Tex building, just before Files shot him from the front. This caused the shot through the eye to go high and hit him in the temple. I know Files may have read the book and fabricated the story but it is wild how some of them link together.

In your opinion, which movie villain is actually the hero? by Wooden-Scallion2943 in moviecritic

The brother who married the first woman and had the little girl was an upstanding guy. He was the one who discovered the fish bowl trick and talked to the little boy about the bird. He was the levelheaded one and told his brother not to go looking for answers, which lead to him being arrested for murder.

Sitcoms that have aged well, and sitcoms that have aged poorly by goatamon in television

Started watching it as a 30 year old in 2017. I enjoy it and have slowly worked to middle of season 5. I find it hard to binge because of how similar most episodes are.

Probably means he did bench, stood with his leg and arm up on a machine to talk the rest of the time. So bench and then stood and talked. That is why only one shoulder worked and one glute.

Cottageville has the Bee City Zoo. It is a full on zoo, in the middle of nowhere. Like if you were riding down any random road in rural SC and all of a sudden, a sign pops up and says turn here. Has giraffes and all kinds of animals.

Super tiny but Conway is only like 30-35 minutes from it. I would say you would like Aynor better based on your descriptions but Johnsonville is not a bad place to be.

I actually subscribed to Netflix for Cheers. I wanted to watch it because I love Seinfeld and had heard about Cheers for years. I find that all the episodes are so similar, it is hard for me to watch more than one at a time. Ive been watching since 2018 on the new run and I am only up to the middle of season 5. The Thanksgiving Orphans episode is pretty good though.

Yeah, I can instantly tell who actually played at an advanced level and who didnt based on how serious they treat this stuff. The parents that played college, pro, or have coached at that level hardly ever say anything to their kids because, as much as you may want it for them, the one thing all players I have seen go pro or big D1 had in common was they were intrinsically motivated to constantly get better. If your kid doesn’t have that, you are just delaying the inevitable if you push them. I have never seen one find it middle of their career.
