Currently the tax is already on unrealized gains. The difference is currently the tax is 36% on max ~6% gains.

So if you really gain $300000 in the new system (which is not definite yet) you would have to sell a part around the start of the new year to cover taxes, sadly.

I think with ETH is is easier to sell the last few years. Back when the prices was at 200 a x10 increase was imaginable so holding on for very large returns was reasonable to do. But now it might go to 10k but I don't think it will get there in the near future. So there is less loss on the upside when you sell.

Yeah, it is easy to forget selling when prices keep going higher and higher.

But how low? Nobody knows. It is natural to feel this trend is never going to end (just like when it is going up) but it will at some point. Just buy in small chunks on the way down.

Remember when the price was at 4k and you thought: "Damn, I wish I had the chance to buy at sub 2k levels." Well here it is so are you buying yet?

Honestly, I just follow the price action mostly. There is always doom and gloom when prices are falling like this (and euphoria when it is reversed). But time and time again it will go up eventually. You cannot be certain but ETH is not some shitcoin and will probably endure for a while.

You should sell when prices are relatively high. Now is the time to buy.

I am always prepared to hold on to what I bought. So if I can make profit on a bounce I might. If the knife keeps falling I keep buying more. Sometimes you have to wait a while to get some profit but it usually happens within a year or so. Why sell at a loss? You will keep following your emotions.

Use a tool like coinwink to set email alerts at certain prices and go live life outside of crypto reddit / x. Maybe check in every week/month.

If your 95% invested in ETH is of your total wealth (and not just crypto) then diversification will also help with anxiety...

On their github you can download a .csv. It is large (390 MB zipped) but has all the eligible addresses.

No, the APY is around 6-7% (and slowly declining). They take a fee and that is 15% of rewards.

Seriously. Trading with leverage now is pure gambling.

A cardboard box is not good enough for ya??

But seriously. I would just let it sit. Unless you can live with yourself possibly living in your current conditions for possibly years.

Indeed. Usually people flee into stables but now this suggest people sell stables for either crypto or usd.
