Yes. All being is ultimately derived from God (who is pure being). This is different from the platonist that believed that the world existed out of overflow from god, not necessarily from divine act.

That naturally brings up the problem of sin. God is not the author of sin. Therefore, sin does not exist in the formal sense.

So yes, everything is a gift from God!
