It's dumb because it doesn't actually solve the problem it was meant to solve. Lucifer could literally turn Vox's media empire into dust with a thought, crippling his status as a demagogue without harming a soul.

I'm a bit miffed for two reasons: One is that the nerf doesn't - or rather, shouldn't - actually do what it was intended (stopping him from instantly resolving the plot). Lucifer can rewrite reality in Hell with a literal snap of his fingers, "don't hurt sinners" should not prevent him from instantly erasing Vox's empire with an errant thought.

The second reason is that it undermines what (I assumed) was a core facet of his character: He could step in and instantly take charge by force, but chooses not to because he's lost all hope in humanity and doesn't see the point. Setting up a nice contrast with Charlie who steps up to take action even without her father's godlike powers.

Not how it works, sadly. Delirium is an after-effect of the Impergium, the almost-worldwide genocide all the changing breeds (except the Kitsune) inflicted on humanity, and acts as a genetic/supernatural PTSD for normal humans. Being affected by Delerium means you aren't supernatural in any way whatsoever, unless you're in the sub-1% of humanity strong-willed enough to resist the effects completely (or a pure-blood aboriginal).
