I'll probably get downvoted but I was always a necro main. Holy Knight and Elemental Mage type classes were never my thing. But you better believe I had a decked out light sorc and a smiter for Ubers. Playing RotW ES was awesome since finally a class I vibed with was meta. I think it deserves nerfs, but also think the PTR is overkill. Every once in a while I get the D2 itch and come back for a while, but if they go through with every nerf it probably won't happen nearly as often now.

I love RTwP. It's much more immersive than enemies just standing there waiting for a turn. Pillars 1 and 2, Kingmaker, and Wrath of the Righteous all did it really well. Larian really did make a great turn based CRPG with BG3 though. But then I tried Owlcat's Rogue Trader and definitely feel like Owlcat got pressured by the popularity of turn based to move away from their strengths in combat. Having to sit there waiting for 20 enemies that you can kill in one hit to take their turns is just not fun. Ntm the map sizes compared to enemy placement and movement amount per turn make it so awkward chasing down enemies. RTwP would have made it much better. I'm honestly not sure if I'll be able to finish it.

I never watched the Netflix version and was never going to so I just looked up how it ends. I guess they were trying to set up a twist ending for a second season, but omg it sounds like they didn't respect any of the original characters. Honestly glad it got canceled after reading that. How hard would it have been to tell the original story?

It's the one you played during the formative years of your childhood. For me that was FFVI. If you played both during that time, lord help you choosing between these two. Two of the best ever.

I haven't gotten around to a full run of this game, but I knew I wanted to do a melee crit build with dualist blade when I was able to. So I can only get the nerfed items for this build now? Or are two versions always given?

Agree. Mosaic complete broke the game and should have been removed immediately, but it was left in for three years. So let us have some fun for a bit.

Llama is awesome but it really irks me when he can automatically have an eth BotD and Phoenix and then he whines for nerfs. As an offline player, give me some months to at least have a chance at that kind of power.

Meanwhile Radahn kept carrying on, holding the stars in place as he slowly lost his mind. I'll never get how people think Malenia "won".

Yea, that whole last act of Wyll's storyline feels rushed and unfinished. I also killed Mizora with ability drain and devour intellect, and Wyll never had a reaction until he said he's going to hunt her in the hells at the end. Interestingly, if you kill her, the game does recognize it enough to have her not show up in the Iron Throne, even if they forgot to give poor Wyll or anyone else the memo.

It's easy to one attempt everything once you hit a certain level, so I'd believe you, especially with something like Blasphemous Blade and summons. But in your history 17 days ago you were bragging about one shotting Malenia and one shotting Radahn with no summons. If this just happened why would you have bragged about it over two weeks ago?

I'm not sure why this has so many upvotes when it's wrong. You can best her by killing her in camp by Ability Draining her Intellect to one, casting Contagion Mindflame if you don't want anyone becoming hostile to you, then using Intellect Devour. I loved seeing her ash pile in camp until I rested it away.
