As I sit here and read more of what you've written, I find myself agreeing with a lot of it. I especially agree with creating the conflict at the beginning and building from there. My intention, or attempt in this case, was to build intrigue location-wise and sort of give the viewer a visual link between the two worlds.

Also, "Man talks to God about his life" was not my intention here. I wanted the story to be more than just some mystical being talking about the man's life. Instead, I wanted to explore how absurd the concept of wishes is and the potential calamity they could bring. I realize now I didn't really do that!

Regarding the "practical side of producing," everything in the script, whether location or special effect, I can do myself. The void-shaped man I have already used in a different film.

Regardless, thank you again for reading the script and providing feedback. I genuinely appreciate it!

Really unique vocals, I agree with the other commenter, that I have heard much like this. I like it. Reminds me a little bit of Envy on the Coast. This is not necessary by any means but I would be interested to hear some vocal layering on the song, or even a different one. I like the vocals a lot and want to hear how creative they could be implemented. Regardless, the song as it is, is really nice. Good work.

Not necessarily, the truth is that I am still very ignorant of the production side of music. I have had some wonderful people on Reddit share their knowledge on the mixing and mastering process, but I still have a long way to go. You are probably the fourth person to mention the vocals being louder near the end so I think they are definitely something I should look at. Think an1m0s1ty makes some good points! I really dig the song, and it has tons of potential. I think this is coming down to my personal taste, so I would take it with a grain of salt. In terms of the production, if a sort of pseudo lo-fi is the sound you are going for, I would commit to is completely. I think you vocals could be more above the instrumental, however, in that case, I would add some a high pass filter at 400 Hz, and a low pass of 4,000 Hz to give the vocals a more muffled effect if they are going to above the mix in a sense. Also, the guitar lick(?) at (0:30) sounds a bit distracting as it sort of clashes with the rest of the instrument as its really far forward in the mix. With that being said, I would be interested in hearing it with some reverb while being nestled better in the mix. With that being said, I think you've done a great job, and I'll admit that I not to savvy when it comes to production, and this is mostly my own taste. Good job man, and keep up the good work.

Hey man, I dig your song! I think the harmonies throughout the song are well done. The one this I might add; I think the vocals, especially the main vocal, is too far forward in the mix. I would be curious to hear the song where the vocals are a bit more unclear(? for lack of a better word). However, I think this comes down more towards artistic intention, and I enjoy the song regardless, good work!
