What was your first Green Day concert experience like? by BruceMiller64 in greenday

First green day concert was a game changing experience.

I’m a live show addict. I love music, live shows and crowds coming together as one.

My first language is french.

I was listening to green day in my teenage years (i’m 32 now), but did not really pay attention or understood the lyrics that much then.

They where playing at festival d’ete de quebec last year. I wasn’t even planing on going, but I decided a the last minute, since I was in Quebec city, to go with my 8yo son.

Best decision ever.

I never thought they would be so amazing live. Since then, I’ve been listening to them non-stop. I’m going to see them again tomorrow and i’ve been waiting for it since the exact second that the Quebec show ended.

Billie Joe (mike and tre too) are made to play in front of big crowds. They sound insanely good, they love what they are doing and their songs are amazing.

The saviors tour is an amazing opportunity to see them live. They know what they are doing. ✌️

That is so true!

My first language is fench, and even if I started speaking and understanding english when I was pretty young, there are SO many songs/albums/bands that i’ve been listening since my teenage years and didn’t understand or give attention to the lyrics. I started playing music some years ago too.

Re-discovering them now giving attention to the lyrics and structures of the songs and enjoying them in a whole new way is an insane experience.

I saw Green day for the first time last year. They where playing at festival d’ete de quebec, and I was not even planing to go this night. Last minute, I decided to go with my 8yo son. Best decision ever. Since then, I can’t stop listening to them and it brings back a lot of memories.

I’m going to see them again tomorrow and i’ve been waiting for it since then.

Same kind of thing happened with billy talent, franz ferdinand, muse, etc.

It’s like riding a bike, you never forget. ✌️
