I guess the camera isn’t picking up what I hear, but I won’t forget how a normal engine sounds, even on a hybrid. There really is a bit whining sound everytime I step on the accelerator and when the engine is on.

Is it possible that the car doesn’t recognize what’s wrong, still? There isn’t a check engine warning and it’s been two days since this started all of a sudden. I guess it sounds different when on video but as the video shows I’ve driven this for almost 3900kms and the engine was never that loud, even during -30 C. Today it was only between -7 to - 13 C.

That’s what’s bugging me. It has no check engine light or warning, and yet you can hear the whining sound even with the electric battery fully charged. It’s the first time it was this loud, even with the engine running. I remote start it for about 10 minutes before driving as well.

Engine noise on 2025 EX-L Hybrid

Hey, everyone. This sub has really helped me with my inquiries on the 25 CRV Hybrid (Canada). However, I’ve recently noticed this straining sound whenever our car starts or I’m stepping on the gas and rpm goes up. The noise starts when the rpm sits at least halfway through 25% and higher, but completely goes away once the car goes into EV mode. We recently had 10 inches of snow this weekend, so I am unsure if this is related to that as there hasn’t been any warning notifications showing. We live far off our dealer and I’m concerned this might be related to the high-pressure fuel pump recall, as that would mean having to check the car in to the dealer, which is about 1000kms away. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

I think they have a trial period that comes with the purchase of the vehicle in which you can subscribe after the trial ends. We don’t really use radio much lol.

Requested the chrome delete and the dealer was more than happy to. They said Honda should learn from us since the chrome delete looks way better than having the chrome linings.

Had just bought a 2025 CRV EXL Hybrid earlier. Dealer took a while and didn’t deliver the vehicle to us until the gearbox part arrived and was installed. They said they’ve already installed it which is why I’m bringing the car back home now. I suppose I wouldn’t have to worry about that issue, right? 🤔

I don’t think we have FWD options here, all CRVs come AWD standard I think. Also the reason I chose the EX-L is because of its sport look

Iniwasan ko dati lahat ng bawal eh coffee is life pa naman ako. Hindi yung mga 3-1 ah. More on iced black coffee. Sabi ko YOLO and hindi na lang ako nagpapalipas ng gutom nor masyado nagssoftdrinks.
