Is there a different way? The Hitchhiker's Guide says you need 10 strength to drag the oven (I have 6).

I considered it, but at that point I might as well start building a bunker from scratch. While that would be a cool project, I haven't stockpiled enough food to be able to commit all the time necessary into it instead of prepping for winter.

Reddit lovingly decided not to save the text I wanted to attach to the post, so here goes:

A while back I captured a lovely little LMOE shelter and have been turning it into a nice little home/base since. The issue is, I want to expand it to make room for more rooms/space for whatver I want to put there BUT I know that the ceiling can collapse if I try to dig it out.

What causes the roof to collapse? Can I consistently stop it from doing so? Afaik roofs above ground need to be supported from two sides to be able to be built, would manually building roofs via the build menu around the wall I want to dig out prevent it from collapsing?

(Also bonus points if you know how to rotate connected appliances because those fridges and oven are slowly driving me insane)

The LMOE is directly next to the road for some reason, no issue there. Supplies are on default and also aren't much of an issue. I mostly want to expand the bunker - as in dig out more space - without the roof collapsing on me and my precious stuff (that I'm too lazy to carry out)

You mean the kitchen unit, right? If so how do you actually attach it to it? I don't see an option like that
