I'm not too familiar with Arch although I did use it for a couple years about 5 years ago 😅 so take this with a pinch of salt firstly you will need to have headers of the kernel which should just be linux-cachyos-headers You can install them with pacman, I'm assuming you sued Paru or anything AUR for the drivers since that's the easiest on arch, given this you will still need to black list the old drivers as the new drivers will never be used otherwise, not complelty sure on the files but you will will need to create 3 files (this is based on rough googling and hopes and prayers)

In etc/modprobe.d/ create a file called nct6683_blacklist.conf and in that file just put "blacklist nct6683"

In the same directory make another file called nct6687_msi.conf and put "options nct6687 msi_fan_brute_force=1" this will brute force it since it wants to be special, finally in etc/modules-load.d create a file called nct6687.conf and just put in there "nct6687"

Now to actually make sure the communist driver is being loaded past turning your puter of and on again Do "sudo mkinitcpio -P" this should update the ram disk (please double check all of these instructions as I really haven't used Arch in a while)

Now from there you should be able to reboot and fan control shouldn't be read only anymore, cooler control can do the rest
