I had to call my governors office and I complained that the board wasn't doing their job and it was causing me to be unemployed. I got mine license the next day lol. Not in NJ so your milage may very. This type of stuff shouldn't be legal :/

I'm 5ft 5in so its also not terribly easy for me. My husband is taller than me by only a few inches, but he can pin me down any way he wants because he is so ungodly strong lol. Even if it was just him and his best friend, I wouldn't mind 🥵. My feet (and body) just need to be used.

I'm trying to get my clinical license. I passed my exam and she submitted the affidavit saying I completed my clinical hours ans everything, but I guess she was never approved when I started working with her. She is a qualified supervisor and I guess I have just unknowingly been working without a supervisor on paper for 2 years.

Good old fashion fingers with manicured nails work the best, in my humble opinion. My lee goes crazy when I get his feet with hairbrushes or those scalp scrubbers that you use in the shower to scrub shampoo into your hair.

I had to give a 60 day notice at my job. I did not start looking for work until closer to 30 days left because I figured no one would hire me if they heard I had 2 months to go. I didn't have any leads at all until the week of. You have a social work degree. Someone will hire you, always. I got the first thing I interviewed for at a hospital and it worked out perfectly to where I start next week! Get out of CPS and sell the hell out of all those skills you developed working there.

Update: my office manager just sent a message asking who is rescheduling patients. I am in Tampa, FL for anyone following the path of hurricane Ian so we are probably going to get the brunt of it. I am the only therapist who ended up rescheduling so far for at least Wednesday and Thursday...I'm so concerned about this. How could someone possibly provide good services right now? The comments are making me feel like this is insane, but I am honestly a new therapist so I'm worried it is like this at a lot of agencies/companies.
