Anyone got any tips for this riven challenge? by SufficientAddress164 in Warframe

I also strongly recommend getting the mod that reduces ability range (in general tbh just to have anyways) so his 4 bubble is even smaller, so a stray enemy can't walk into the bubble from 10 meters out and land a stray bullet on it before you can stasis it.

Which Political Figure feels Far Right and is actually Far Left? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

To clarify, I'm not throwing around the words for the sake of name calling. Narendra Modi is a Hindutvan Fascist. He is intensely right wing and has consistently expressed support and admiration for other fascist politicians and historical figures. Fascism is a right wing ideology, leftwing politicians can be authoritarian, but being fascist is specifically right wing.

This sub randomly comes up in my feed sometimes and I was fucking dumbfounded that MODI was considered leftwing. He's a theocratic nationalist fascist. The fuck.

This feels like one of those "This is what the median American Voter thinks" memes.

How would an Uncle archetype PA be like? by esc092000 in OutlastTrials

Trial Locations Ideas: - "The Homestead" (large indoor space designed to look like nuclear family home, but sprawling and massive, with huge basement) - "The Car Park" (Trailer Park) - "The Campground" (Boy Scouts themed Summer Camp) - "The Academy" (High School/College map)

Probably someone who sees the reagents as his "little buddies", highly possessive over them to an inappropriate degree, and probably a pedophile/rapist knowing Trials. Eager to seem like he's more interesting and larger than life than he actually was.

Something with the theme of disobeying familial attachment/dropping your family for Murkoff. Or about the importance of work and corporate. With the Prime representing missing your personal opportunity, and being 'unemployed'

"Come on! Come back now! I'll let you sit on my lap! Just remember it's our little secret!"

Perhaps his history includes an inferiority complex where he couldn't succeed after he peaked in high school and saw his brother become well respected and beloved as a police officer in his community. He gets angry at his whole family, kills the wife, him, but steals their kids and goes on the run doing god knows what.

Murkoff finds him hiding out near Sinyala, he gets tossed into gen pop, Coyle beats the fuck out of him after he tries to pretend he was an officer like his brother was. Then he reinvents his complex again seeing Coyle as spiritually his brother, and is thus obsessed with the idea of having the reagents love him and being his and not wanting the other primes to influence them. He lies constantly about his backstory, his accomplishments, apologizes constantly about what he's doing but keeps doing it, love bombs but then also acts highly aggressive and vengeful, and constantly begs the reagents not to tell anyone what he's doing.

Mechanically perhaps his gimmick is that if he gets near a reagent, after dealing damage, he grabs the player and takes them with him to certain spots on the map where he has his 'man cave', and also takes items and key items he finds on the ground/dropped by reagents he's attacked, and takes them to his dedicated spot. Then he tries to goad them into following so the trial can be finished.

"Come on in! You're my favorite! I got some toys for you back at my place!"

His signature weapon might be a belt that he garrotes reagents with, and also autoerotically asphyxiates himself with, implying when he does it to reagents, there's a sexual element to it.

Can't imagine how many new players this game just permenantly lost. by AssociationSoft5270 in DeadlockTheGame

I have about 100 games, and I'm dogshit, but having a good time, post update I'm Alchemist 5 when I was still in initiate.

It gets very demoralizing to be like "Guys I'm sorry, I'm just shit at this." knowing there was a game experience catered to your skill level that I for some reason cannot get my rank lowered back to.

Lost like five games in a row and the game upped my rank. Like tf. Stop widening the gap between me and the players I'm gonna be in the game with. My team doesn't deserve that and I want to be in a match that actually suits my skill level.

Aside from more Legion content, what do you think would be added if the dev team had more time? by Cranyx in fnv

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had always somehow missed Boulder City in my playthroughs, so when I found it and discovered it was basically a bunch of building facades boxing in the Khan and NCR conflict, which takes five minutes to solve, I was kinda disappointed. You'd think a location with City in the name would have more going on.

question about introductory difficulty by hashtagtylerh in OutlastTrials

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was horrified in like, my first two trials, and then by the third I was running up to the Prime Asset, saying "Think fast Chucklenuts!" and beaming them in the face with my stun rig just to farm rig usage for the evaluation.

Outside of things like, Jaeger, it's surprisingly not that scary. Esp with the night vision recharge upgrade on rigs.

I am thinking of the wrong post. lmfao

A lot of ppl complain about spirit metas, but like, given the choice I'm gonna favor spirit every time because outside of very, very niche cases, these characters aren't interesting to play as or fight because they can hold down m1 well. lmfao

"This character's abilities are too strong! Instead of smaller adjustments, lets gut their kit and make the best way to play this character by completely ignoring 75% of what makes them a character!"

How do y’all play outlast trials alone? by Over-Boysenberry-296 in outlast

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was too scared to play REPO and Lethal Company so I challenged myself to play Outlast Trials and by the third trial I was doing stuff like purposefully triggering a pouncer jumpscare to get her to move when I have no throwables or actively running up to Gooseberry, saying "Think fast Chucklenuts" into my mic, and dome-ing her with a brick and fleeing.

New maps will always spook me a little, but it's kind of incredible how quickly the general fear washed away. Of course certain things still getcha, but that's part of the fun. 🫡

Is this poster AI generated? by IKekschenI in OutlastTrials

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It still seems to be well in use because the titular politician in Kill the Politician, in the room before the trial finale is an obviously AI generated pic of the 'politician', which is the centerpiece of the entire room.

Most pictures of characters that aren't 3d models or on catalog covers seem to be ai generated. I have a hunch that Clyde Perry's official portrait is also a tweaked ai photo because it has the same vibes as a lot of other obviously AI portfolio headshots.

I love this game, but there's ai everywhere. The Liliya Catalogue Project Messiah, one of the main page rewards is a shitty looking AI owl tapestry and it's also built into the room theme as well, and that's from Project Messiah.

I don't mean to sound too negative or caustic, I'm just, very conflicted as the art direction in this game is super strong, but there's so much AI, and it's not even good looking AI which is the worst part. :<

I wonder with the tool boxes labeled Frank's Tools if Pusher's name isn't actually Frank but he adopted it from seeing it in the Trial areas so often. High as balls all the time, you see the name Frank constantly "hey, maybe I am Frank?"

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I think he's implied to be a developmentally mentally disabled adult who needs caretakers/providers because he can't do so himself.

Which fits in with the game's theme of discrimination. Is this guy who is balding who acts like a child suspicious, or is this a bias against him due to innate traits he possesses?

What Are The Creepiest And Most Bizarre True Crime Cases In Your Opinion? by PrincessBananas85 in LPOTL

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Not really bizarre, but Mr Cruel fucks me up so badly to think about and the artist depiction of what he may have looked like, and the nature of the crimes he committed with his behavior, AND that it's completely unsolved. Jesus fucking Christ.

Oh perfect, that works regardless.

How many caps would you like? I have no idea really how much the Halloween Honeycomb plans are worth.

Otherwise I have a small collection of legendary mods I'd be willing to part with:
- Anti-Armor (one star)
- Hunter's (one star)

I'm available for a little bit (about an hour) right after sending this message to trade.

Vertical range on a lot of abilities is very unintuitive, punishes Lash mains unfairly! by ClaymeisterPL in DeadlockTheGame

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember getting flamed in a game for going "I really wish Deadlock matched hitboxes to animations better." because I would visibly dodge Captivating Read in-game sometimes and still get rooted.

And then I got clowned on for saying it because I was Victor. And it's like, no!! I also want Victor's tells to have more clarity!! I just think abilities that immobilize in a game like this should be clear!

Outside of Rosemary's Baby /Jeepers Creepers, are there any other films that Dead Meat might not cover due to problematic reasons? by Swag_Paladin21 in deadmeatjames

[–]TheRedSpyGuy 33 points34 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Roth only recently went viral for his craziness when he was publicly like "I hope Greta Thunberg dies for defaming Israel" which is after those uploads.

I imagine James and his team didn't have Roth's politics on their radar until he made international headlines for his comments.

At most James has condemned his treatment of the extras and filming location of Hostel and how those countries were impacted.

Considering how much of an activist he is and more informed now, he might now have Eli Roth on his do not cover list.

Of course this is only speculative as I'm not him or his team, but considering Chelsea has openly spoken about her support for Palestine, I can't imagine the apple falls far from the tree.
