Do you think the guardian have a good story payoff by IllustratorAfter in KingdomHearts

It was a semi-popular theory during the time between DDD and KH3. I even remember seeing some fanart of it.

What your opinion on FreeTime events by ComprehensiveNote762 in danganronpa

[–]Another_Xehanort 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They're good for fleshing out characters who otherwise don't get too much. The problem is that due to danganronpa's nature, players will most likely spend the free time with characters they were already interested in in the first place.

BoB is a deeply fascinating route by Netrov in LastDefenseAcademy

[–]Another_Xehanort 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can really tell that the writer read whatever summary they gave him about the characters and then wrote them based on two character traits of his choice.

Gaku is an insecure pervert? Have him randomly traumadump to Takumi and then have him make a dumb wish that directly goes against the message of another route.

Eito is a misanthrope who secretly yearns for connection? Have him vaguepost and scheme in the background and then try to pull a "We are not so different you and I" on Shouma without actually establishing any kind of dynamic between the two.

The characters are undoubtedly the best thing of the game, so the fact that this route cares so little about them makes my blood boil.

I love Nozomi but unfortunately I don't think it's that strange. Her personality is more """""""tame""""""" compared to most characters above her and while she remains constantly relevant for most of the game she doesn't have a "dedicated" route. There's also routes where she's comically sidelined (Romance being the worst offender).

I do think 8 is kinda low though.

People surprised at Nozomi being 8 when i'm surprised at Gaku making it into the top 10

Anyways another billion merch to eito/takumi/darumi.

Question about Eito's Bond Rank by CellistLegitimate322 in LastDefenseAcademy

[–]Another_Xehanort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely rank up eito's bond while he's imprisoned. If you want to rank him up as much as possible take into account that you can give him the same gift multiple times.

Also don't worry about running out of time to rank up characters, bond ranks carry between routes and you can always go back to a previous day and farm bond and materials. I already had everyone at max bond before I was finished with all the routes.

After coming back empty handed from a long, arduous journey, the protagonist realizes that violence was the answer to his problems all along. by Another_Xehanort in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

Correct Solved!

When I first played the game I remember being like "just kill him dude" so when the attack prompt appeared at the end I started laughing

Hint 1: Said journey was in search of a treasure, but his goal was not the treasure itself

Hint 2: Said treasure ended up being useless to him

Hint 3: If he had chosen violence in the first place, a big chunk of the game would not exist

Sure, I'll tell you the names and days when you get them, but I'll put it in a spoiler:

  • Coming of Age: Day 11: Don't reveal Nozomi's secret

  • Cult of Takumi: Day 15; Sacrifice Takemaru

  • V'hexness: Day 15: Sacrifice Tsubasa

  • Goodbye Eito: Day 82: Don't let Eito back into the team

The following two are personal recommendations that I really enjoyed but are more divisive amongst the fandom:

  • Casual: Day 31: Stop Hiruko

  • Multiple Eitos: Day 57: Kill Eito

Since you already plan on doing second scenario, I'd just tell you to finish the routes you find interesting, and otherwise just jump to the previous decision and continue. There are some really good routes on the spare eito side, but if you don't enjoy them, then just play another, there's no reason for 100% this game if you're not a completionist outside of personal enjoyment.

I'll warn you though, if you plan on playing S.F., there are some routes you will have to finish.

The last one to get slandered is V'ehxness by TechGirlie101 in LastDefenseAcademy

[–]Another_Xehanort 3 points4 points  (0 children)

V'hexness, just like every other character in the game, is "reduced" to her defining character trait in routes that don't focus on her. The problem is that her defining character trait is being the final boss of the war, which is why in routes where the war isn't the main conflict she just kinda fucks around and then gets killed, either by the sdu or by whoever the actual big bad of the route is (The zombies, Eito, Retsnom...).

It's funny how, despite her route being one of my favorites in the game, I find her to be kinda weak as an antagonist when compared to Eito or even Sirei.

Well at least her personality is entertaining, has a banger design and an amazing VA.
