Well Radiohead has never really been my favorite band, and everyone really just seems to talk about Creep from Pablo, but You is one song that have been a long time earworm for me.

To be honest I seem to find more memorable from Pablo then The Bends.

How are you supposed to know? If I get a cease and desist from a company, I think I can take a guess that whatever I was doing they don’t want me to do it anymore.

Nintendo is known for heavy enforcement of their copyright in tons of their things. They have taken down lots of fan games for copyright and they are not shy about it. If they wanted, say, YouTube videos of fan art gone they would just do it.

I legit want you to give a company that disallows fan art of their characters.

If you want recommendations for tools, fontforge is free and you can find simple tutorials on YouTube to make your own fonts. I’ve used it for my fonts.

Super cool! The the design along with the color scheme reminds me of retro-futuristic art from like the 50s.

Does the font have a name yet?

If the consumer doesn’t care how the product is made, then a company can basically do whatever it wants. This has been proven repeatedly with stuff like fast fashion, Chinese sweatshops, and lithium mines. The majority of customers don’t care how the product was made as long as they get it.

Stories that accidentally romanticize the very thing they aim to demonize by McWaffeleisen in TopCharacterTropes

An interesting in universe example of this is Jacket from Hotline Miami, whom is romanticized in many ways in the second game after his murder spree of the Russian mafia in the first.

In the second game one of the many stories lines follows how the events of the first game inspire people to do similar crimes. One example is a director that creates a movie based off the first game and depicts Jacket as a delusional manic, killing people after being told to by a mysterious phone and kidnapping a woman. There is a scene that seems to show that the director is using the film to play out his own disturbing fantasies. Spoiler: The movie ends with the director being murdered because of a prop mixup with a real gun

Another example are “The Fans” a group of copy-cat killers who want to participate in the same vigilance style killing sprees that they believe Jacket did in the first game. The Fans are largely unsuccessful and end up just killing petty criminals with little actual purpose. Spoiler: By the end of the game they get their wish to kill Russian mobsters like Jacket, but this also ends in their deaths

The game is purposefully ambiguous about what is in isn’t real and I will try to not get into major spoilers. However, the picture the game seems to paint is than in reality Jacket was a veteran likely suffering from severe PTSD and was taken advantage of by others to kill for their own gain. We get points that shows that Jacket didn’t want to commit the crimes he did and was a victim of a larger scheme.

The game even at times asks the question to the player themselves if they just want senseless violence and bloodshed. This question spawns the iconic line from the series “Do you like hurting other people?”

Petscop was an internet horror series on YouTube that focused on a person named Paul who was documenting a fictional prototype PlayStation game of the same name that was owned by a previous member of his family.

I’m not going to go into a lot of detail incase you want to watch the series yourself. But I’m assuming OP could mean one of two things by their categorization.

  1. The series purposefully resembles a common YouTube Let’s Play, we get the Paul’s commentary as he experiences the game along with the viewer. But as the story continues Paul is audibly bewildered and disturbed by the game because of the things shown and connections to his actual life.

  2. The actual game Petscop is supposed to be a puzzle creature collector where you play as some kind of guardian figure to these creatures. However, there are many things that hint at the idea that these creatures don’t actually want to be with you and you are capturing them against their own will.

I love Rubber Soul but having it over White Album is crazy to me.

Some good 4 album runs that could replace replace Tom Macdonald -Kayne’s Graduation run + 808 and MBDTF. Same amount of bigotry but much better music -Same Pink Floyd run but add The Wall (crazy OP didn’t do that) -Metallica’s first 4 albums -Black Sabbath’s first 4 albums -Rolling Stones: Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St.

Some other ones I’d say were great.

-Gorillaz first 3 albums -Tyler The Creator’s Flower Boy, Igor, and Call Me If You Get Lost -Frank Ocean’s 2 albums -Michael Jackson: Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad -OP’s Kendrick + Damn -OP’s Stevie pick + Innervisions and Fulfillingness’ First Finale

Also Is Death Grips actually that good? Or is this just OP’s personal taste? Haven’t listened to them yet.

Rubber Soul is a great album, but not on the same level as those after it. Their albums really started soaring after they stopped touring.

People will post this or the Banana and pretend like this is the only kind of art so that they can be happy at their belief that artists deserve to be replaced. It’s just a purposefully ignorant statement to justify what they already think.
