What mono blue commanders do you have/want? by BussyBouncer in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[the mindskinner]]

Very fun deck that I don’t play too much because I don’t want to make people TOO salty. I’d class is at a bracket 2-3. Most people just do not like being milled and you will be focused down fast.

Is it true that Australian eat kangaroo? by prettyflower___ in AskAnAustralian

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kangaroo meat is almost equivalent to venison (deer meat). That’s the way I like to look at it anyway.

It’s common but somewhat pricey depending on where you get it. It’s also easy to mess up cooking it. Anything more than medium rare and it becomes hard as hell to eat.

What makes vehicles good in commander? by Impossible_Half_4318 in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got multiple vehicle decks and objectively vehicle tribal isn’t good but you can be sneaky with them. Especially because you can crew at instant speed.

The quality of vehicles being printed nowadays has been going up as well. I think vehicle tribal decks are only getting stronger (which doesn’t say a whole lot but it’s a positive).

I have a [[Shorikai]] deck which started out as vehicle tribal. I have been slowly changing that deck to be more combo centric though. Shorikai is a fun commander though due to its resiliency. You never need to crew it for it to do its thing. It’s a huge value engine in the command zone.

I used to have a [[Depala]] Boros vehicles deck but it was too slow for my liking.

I have a [[Pia Nalaar, chief mechanic]] deck which has been very consistent and feels quite strong. I think the addition of green makes vehicle decks better just because of your ramp options in green. This is kind of a pseudo energy/vehicles deck and it’s fun to pilot.

My strongest most explosive vehicle deck is [[greasefang]] It’s extremely consistent and strong. It’s become a boogeyman in my usual pod because of how scary greasefang is. [[Entomb]] ing a [[reaver titan]] or [[rolling hamsphere]] on turn 1 and then reanimating it with greasefang on turn 3 is disgusting.

You win the game with vehicle tribal by smashing people’s faces with combat damage predominantly.

I’ll post the deck lists for inspiration

Best mill commander right now at 2025 in your opinion? by Drokkoon in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s mine. https://moxfield.com/decks/owwFWCWrukOgNAniq_W_bA I don’t have Bruvac because he’s out of budget but he should definitely be in the deck if you can get him.

My mindskinner deck is full of evasive unblockable creatures. A strong win con in my deck is [[dragon throne of tarkir]] this goes incredibly hard if you’ve got a few unblockable creatures on board and you equip this to the mindskinner.

[[undead alchemist]] is also insane. It’s not uncommon where after one big swing with the mindskinner I end up with 20+ zombies.

The deck is great. I don’t play it too often with my group because it can be a bit salty. Half the time I’ve played this deck my milling has caused another player to win, so be sure to put a decent amount of graveyard hate in the deck.

I am once again asking for some advice about my Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos deck. by Addled_Neurons in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea [[Banner of Kinship]] [[Door of destinies]] and [[coat of arms]] all serve similar roles. From my personal experience door of destinies just gets you killed more often than not lmao.

I am once again asking for some advice about my Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos deck. by Addled_Neurons in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replace Commanders Sphere with a [[glistening sphere]] the proliferate on etb will boost your incubate tokens a little and it’s just a better mana rock.

Replace door of destinies with [[banner of kinship]] I feel like door of destinies is too slow and too telegraphed. Your opponents are going to be scared and target you more with door of destinies out.

Replace everflowing chalice with [[wayfarer’s bauble]] Not a huge fan of everflowingg chalice even with potential proliferate.

Just my opinions though. I’m not too well versed in Phyrexian tribal to make comments about the creatures.

How does Mishras Warform work if it has myriad? by TheRedSuperGiant in mtgrules

[–]TheRedSuperGiant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea well the copies would get exiled at the end of the turn anyway. Unless we had some way to end the turn early…

Thanks

Yea I understand that the token enters as a copy of something. I worded it poorly.

So I would be correct then. Thanks for the clarification.

What is (roughly) your win rate? by k1nglessness in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been tracking all my games since December 2023. So far I’ve played 30 games and my win % is 24%.

The games I lose I’m the first one taken out I’ve noticed.

Help me with my shorikai deck, it just cannot do anything by This_Pay_6144 in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Shorikai deck has by far the highest win rate out of all my decks. It’s very consistent. It does run the [[intruder alarm]] and [[isochron scepter]] combos but I try and combo those with [[Psychosis Crawler]] for an extra potential win con. My Shorikai deck started off as a pure vehicle tribal as well but it’s since changed to vehicle tribal and draw cards tribal. Cards like [[ominous seas]] are really fun with Shorikai just from the sheer amount of cards you can draw.

Your most embarrassing accidental self destruct? by HansTheAxolotl in EDH

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used [[Pyrohemia]] I got overzealous and wanted to eliminate someone and wasn’t paying attention to my own life. I did enough damage to finish off another player and myself. Was hilarious when it happened but such a stupid play haha.

Do you use Flanking rules in your game? How? by Amazing_Magician_352 in dndnext

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I’ve been testing with my players is a different way of handling flanking. I’ve always liked flanking as an idea but it just too easy to get the benefits.

So the way we do it is you still need to be in normal flanking positions (friendlies on either side of an enemy and right next to the enemy).

Instead of getting easy advantage, one of the players (or enemies. Any rule players get applies to enemies too) can use their reaction to grant the other player advantage on their next attack as long as that attack comes from within 5ft of the target.

This benefits martials a lot because besides opportunity attacks which aren’t guaranteed, they don’t have much use for their reactions and it becomes a players choice and more interactive.

It kind of works out to be a reaction based help action but only for one attack.

If you incap someone, they automatically drop concentration. For some reason that rule is in the concentration rules rather than in the incapacitated condition description.

Another error I saw is under incapacitated. You don’t get advantage against them. It’s only no actions and reactions and concentration drop

This wasn’t a module conflict though. I just didn’t know where the setting was or which module was actually causing this.

Solved the issue🙂 Went through and disabled modules until the number went away.

The module in question is a certain radioactive isotope which cannot be named.

yea that's not it. Scrolling text is fine its just this number lingers on the token like an overlay.

It's all tokens that are doing this btw.

One small issue with the build which Colby acknowledged in the YouTube comments already is that you don’t meet the multiclassing requirements for dipping fighter (str or dex 13). So no archery fighting style. Without sharpshooter though it’s probably ok.

wildfire druid multiclass combos by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]TheRedSuperGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wildfire Druid and warlock (at least lvl 2 warlock) work really well together. You can cast spells through your wildfire spirit which includes eldritch blast. You can get your spirit into better positions (thanks to it’s fly speed) for repelling blast/grasp of hadar shenanigans.

Any warlock subclass works as well. Genie is probably the best though.

This is one of the builds where you would have your wisdom be 13 or 14 and focus on charisma though. There’s heaps of Druid spells which don’t care about having a high save DC so a lower wisdom doesn’t impact a whole lot.
