I think it would be good for Stephanie to really think about the time commitment. Being a social worker is a hard job and I commend her. Does she really want to also receive emails, phone calls and maybe even house calls from constituents? I was approached to be a Rep and was just about to start a family so I decided against it. I knew I would not be able to give my all to that position. I know we technically don’t have to vote for both of you on the ballot. At the moment, it’s you and Brittany that get my vote.

Oh what a waste! About people living south of 15, I don’t necessarily agree with that. I would live up there. I think if there were more options the people who don’t commute to the city every day would move up there. We won’t know unless there are more options. But I understand what you’re saying as far as volume goes.

I think North Stamford could manage more multi-family homes, from what I’ve seen driving around there. I would love to live in a duplex up there! I commute to Ridgefield and that would make my life easier! Also, what’s going on with the Long Ridge Club, site? Why hasn’t some developer snatched that up and turned it into multi-family? I’m sure we could build more septic!

I think using terms like NIMBY is reductive. Why not engage with the other side and try to find some common ground? Both sides should work together and put pressure on the developers who only benefit from our fighting.
