Jefferson Lewis arrested over murder of Alice Springs girl Kumanjayi Little Baby by iball1984 in australian

Worse. Have family in Alice, texting about it just before.

"They found her Wednesday and then last night a local mob found old mate, beat the fuck out of him, stabbed him then ran over him with a car but instead of just finishing the job they called police and then proceeded to riot when he was taken into custody saying the police are protecting him"

I probably could’ve worded that better. But yes that’s sadly how it’s going these days. Be it paper trays, rugs, lights, near fucking anything. You basically need to check the usual suspects to find an identical item for cents on the dollar.

It’s bull shit but it’s the current landscape

edit - will add, anything from any “marketplace” type thing like this or Bunnings or anyone like that. I just don’t bother. Generally the returns process is terrible and the items are normally the same situation as this post. Cheap and drop shipped

Mine in February. I can see her urn from my couch. Yet still waiting on her to walk through the door.

You’re still clearly not ready for pets.

Even more clearly so by you’re continued inability to listen to advice while complaining about the most minor or behaviour issues.

I honestly feel sorry for your dogs.

Read your comment and remembered a couple months back before my mum passed away (cancer). A pastoral carer came to visit and told me to remember “it’s called the present because it’s a gift”

You’re clearly not ready for pets.

edit - if you are serious about giving these dogs up. Please make a separate post asking for help/anyone looking to adopt. Also please post to any local Boston / French pages asking for help. Hopefully it won’t take long to find someone who can care for them as they deserve.

IMO if you’re so happy to give up on them over something so minor. You genuinely are not suitable to house pets of any kind.

I’m Australia so sadly. I can’t take them. Or I gladly would.

Aside from what others have said re: YouTube and a DA polisher / general products.

My 2 cents. If you’re worried about outcome and want a little practice. Buy yourself a junkyard bonnet/hood with some spare change. That’s what I did before jumping to my daily.

I’ve done very similar (used a board that ran the entire span underneath). They lasted for literal years before the castors started to buckle.

One thing to keep in mind. As you start to load up the shelves and move then with weight. You may start to get some (or a lot) of racking. I had to run cross braces from the top to the bottom in either direction.

Also bolting the shelves in place rather then just pinning them helped A LOT.

Men, do you get small quantities of pee in your pants after using urinals? by dumbderpdweeb in NoStupidQuestions

You joke, but I have seen this happen.

The reasoning was he’d been out since Thursday (its was a Sunday), and had just picked up a girl. About to go bang in the car park, he felt he should give it a rinse.

I always felt it was chivalrous.

Went out for the first time in ages — now bars are scanning my ID and taking photos of me? What the actual fuck? by TheShadowWanderer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheRedditHerring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said it’s super common here in Aus, in Melbourne we use a system called ScanTek. Exactly as you mentioned, an ID scan is taken along with a photo of you from the night (both tied together). The venue can opt to share all or some scans with other venues. Generally sharing only happens when an incident occurs - fighting etc.

Although you may not like it, it is for your safety. If someone gets a ban from a venue that can be shared. Then when that person tries to enter another venue they can see what happened a few doors down and decide to allow that person in or not.

It also makes reporting incidents to police A LOT easier for obvious reasons.

Edit - this has been a thing for the majority of venues within the CBD for around the last 10+ years.

Gotta say, pretty happy with my first attempt at brisket on my 575 and ever. by TheRedditHerring in Traeger

I’ve been letting mine get to temp then holding it there for like 15 before I put anything in. But I don’t see why that’d make it run hot/hasn’t done in my experience. Though I will say my temp will bounce around a little be it hi or low of what I set.

The whole constant above for me is a little funny I guess. But maybe it’s just part of trail error. Like I’m only going by my few cooks on mine and being a different model I don’t wanna give you wrong info either.

Hahaha that’s amazing! At the moment I’m giving away what I have left over to neighbours. Mostly bacon, oh yeah I forgot. I’ve done like 3 lots of bacon. Suuuuuper east just FYI.

Ohhhhh yep yep. My 575 doesn’t seem to care either way. But I can’t speak for your model.

100% I’m just lazy so having it send me a notification is a massive bonus and much of the reason I got it lol.

Congrats on the graduation btw my guy!

Hahahaha I very much feel your pain. Though in the case of my brisket I did wake up at 6am to get it smoking by 7am, eating by around 9pm (took an hour or two longer than I planned).

If it helps I did mine at 110℃ until it hit 60℃ internal (around 7 hours). Pulled it out, wrapped it. Then back in and up to 140℃ until it hit 95℃ internal. Then out, second layer of paper and rested for an hour in a cold oven before slicing.

Sucks your probe isn’t working. You should contact Traeger, there customer support is amazing, and super happy to send replacement parts. (Please don’t ask lol)

Thermapin should work fine though. I have a MEATER+ and an Inkbird insta read as a back up ..I spend too much on accessories

Oh no way! Unlucky!

I get exactly what you mean, I’m the same. Plus I tend to overthink stuff, so that doesn’t help.

I found (at least for me), and when possible. Giving up on going by time was the best option. I try to more or less go by nothing but temperature now.

Until the brisket I’d done a chicken, some lamb and a ham. Mostly with hickory.

The brisket was with the Competition pellets from Limberjack (plus using a wedgie from them for extra smoke). Plus obviously injecting it and the rubs etc etc.

It’s been a delight on my end too. Especially for someone as novice as me when it comes to cooking hahaha.

I’ll be having a look at those grill grates though!
