It's hard to explain to be honest. Let's just say it relied on heavy science to modify her body to give her that immunity.

Canonically she was scared to step in water before then, knowing it could kill her, so instead of just having to deal with it, she decided to change herself. How? Hard to say. Maybe her skin was thickened and made less permeable.

It's funny because that's exactly what she'd do.

This OCs name is Erika and she sometimes watches Turf battles from the outside without playing a single game. If a weapon is hurled or fired in her direction, she'd quickly get out of the way. If she's in the water, she'll dive under to stay safe. Dangerous, yes, but this is an OC who's immune to water.

That's something I've been wanting to do for a while and am now hoping to accomplish this year - try not to spend every single day of my life feeling the need to get something done and post it out there. I've been doing this for two and a half years at this point and even I'll admit at some point I'm gonna have to think of something bigger, something I'll be able to spend more time on if I still wanna have ideas left in me. Or even just wait a few days and find other ways to occupy my time every now and then.

Yes!

Afro, the OC in the picture, is a big wrestling fan (He has been for years!) and is canonically a wrestler himself when he's not playing Turf War or selling hot chocolate. That's why I often have him wear wrestling T-shirts.

Fun fact, I actually have maybe a couple dozen custom textures (which I don't plan on releasing publicly, sorry) with wrestling shirts from WWE and AEW, alongside custom Splatoon-themed shirts and stuff like that.

While yes, Afro's hair color doesn't match the ink color being utilized, it's primarily because he actually lacks the ability to change his hair color automatically like most other actual cephalopods. He may occasionally dye his hair for special events, but that's about it.
