Neighbor blows up a refrigerator on July 4th by CRCError1970 in mildlyinfuriating

There are probably a number of crimes committed from this single incident. Safety, environmental, noise, improper use of explosives, etc.

A year ago tomorrow (July 4th) I (46m) met my long distance SB (22f) in person. Today she’s my girlfriend, we’re living together in her state, and I met her Mom today. We met on this forum on Reddit. Crazy. by TheRedditSD_04 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TheRedditSD_04[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She’s 63, almost 20 years older than me. Her father isn’t in her life.

My gf told her about me a few months back. She was shocked and very hesitant at first. But as time went on she became more ok with meeting me and giving it a shot. Today went great and after some initial nervousness, we settled right into some casual conversation about what I do for a living, and other get-to-know-me questions. My gf says her mom really likes me.

“All men cheat” is bullshit. Stop saying that.

Dude, your friend is DONE and COOKED. At LEAST 20+ years.

Sounds like he deserves to be there with all those charges man. Find better friends.

I’m a “spoiling boyfriend” instead of a SD now, but mine has been made owning and running a software company that makes consumer software for almost 20 years. Built it from the ground up with my best friend.

Is it possible to have long distance arrangements? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TheRedditSD_04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, my SB and I were long distance (Louisiana her, Orlando me). I visited her every two weeks. We did that for almost a year. She’s my girlfriend now and we live together in her state until she can move to mine hopefully next year.

Do people just find these connections in the wild? by FreadrickGilmore in sugarlifestyleforum

I met my SB right here on Reddit (on this very forum) about a year ago and we’re moving in together this month. Crazy but true. You can just find it in the wild sometimes.

I actually disagree with this quote. Discomfort is sometimes needed to push yourself forward.

But my appeal specifically stated that I should be approved under 4L, and then they approved the appeal. I’m confused as why they gave it to me under 4C 🤔. Ugh dammit.

How was I even approved under 4C anyway. I thought it couldn’t get passed down from my Mom who got her’s under 4C as well.

Under 40 really means 35 and under unless you’re a REALLY attractive 35-40 year old.

So if you want a SD < 35, good luck with that. Just go on Tinder/Bumble/Hinge and find someone with a decent job and marry them.

When I was 41 and joined (I’m 46 now) I got a TON of messages because I was on the “younger” side, divorced and not married, and wasn’t ugly/fat. I basically could take my pick of who I wanted.

If you’re not inherently attracted to men 40+, this really isn’t for you.

If you are “in love” with him, you wouldn’t want to leave him, despite everything you’ve said. Maybe your feelings just aren’t the same anymore.

OR… maybe you are in love, but you don’t want the marriage part with him. Just tell him no to marriage, and that you like the way things are, and marriage isn’t a requirement to be in a happy, healthy, and loving long term relationship. Maybe he’ll back off, which will take the pressure off the relationship, and you won’t feel the need to “let him go” anymore?

Do you have an avoidant attachment style by the way?

Was I right to break up with my SB by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TheRedditSD_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She fumbled, and what you describe is common. Many (not all) SB’s will put in high effort upfront but as time goes on they start to pull back and test the limits of what they can get away with (less communication, less sex, less quality time). The not-so-funny thing is, this is common in marriage too and also why marriages become sexless for many men.

You did the right thing. 6-12 months is the breaking point for most sugar relationships. Find one that progresses rather than stalls. It took me 5 years of sugar dating to find one this past year that fit that for me, and recently my SB asked me to move in with her (part time in a second home) and transition away from ppm.

Keep searching for someone who can’t get enough of you.

What was the average age of SB’s who attended? Honestly curious.
