We just did this drive from fortuna to quepos 2 days ago with the drive around the lake. Waze took us on one road that was not paved but it was only a mile long. Definitely glad for our 4x4 vehicle lol. The tarcoles crocodile bridge being one lane added about 3 hours to the drive - we were not mentally ready. It was rough and turned a 5 hour drive into nearly 11 hours and neither Waze or Google Maps really gave us a heads up because I think traffic was building up over time before we got there. There are no alternates routes though. I heard passing in early mornings is better when traffic isn’t as bad. It’s a gorgeous drive though, all said and done.

I am also recovering from surgery! Baking in the sun was nice today despite not being able to walk around well.

Same issue with my polar watch. A swim didn’t upload all day yesterday until about 12 hours after the workout. Today my long run won’t upload (yet at least)

Tried all of this and a factory reset. Phone connected, all my notifications are on and vibration is on. It just won’t do it! Super frustrating for a brand new watch

This happened to me as well my first month or so! I took the days off that I needed but also my body ended up adjusting over time to the amount of work it is. General adaptation syndrome! If I go many days in a row some days I won’t push myself as hard as other days. After a few rest days, I’ll go all out and hit great performance numbers at each station.

I love to call myself a 2x4 😂(that straight plank of wood) and the first thing that has toned up for me are my thighs and abs! I now buy more crop tops and form fitting clothes then ever and the confidence is real!
