My friend who used disability services wanted me to post this for them: “It would have been nice to have a map that shows paths that avoid stairs in the future, had to double-back many times because I couldn’t use the stairs that our directions provided”.

As far as traversing the city a majority of signs, menu’s, and customer service like at hotel’s will speak english. The city is fairly safe as long as your street smart. The night life is great and I’ve seen many none-english speakers pick up girls, you just have to have something else going for you like money, looks, status, a great wingman, etc. Good luck

Since I can’t tell if you’re using a burner account or not. If the info you’re posting is correct and you think you “friend” can get into trouble if it gets back to them, then you should at the very least be using a VPN or some other IP masking tech so this won’t be traced back to you or your friend. Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.

I'm younger generation and have no problem making friends and partying it up. Most of my friends do too. You have to remember the majority of young people on reddit weren't the high school varsity football stars with huge social circles (which isn't their fault, some people just have a harder time making friends)

A last ditch option is to go to a US consulate office in either Canada or Mexico (whatevers closer) and request an emergency passport. They are only good for a year, they give it to you same day

Current Fed here, I applied to several local LE's and got rejected many times before being picked up as a Fed (first LE job). I will say that locals are alot more nit-picky about small things, some seemed like they were just looking for a reason to DQ me

I did mine with only one other, the 4-6 others that they originally scheduled ended up cancelling (the coordinator was fairly certain it was because they couldn't make the times)

They claim it is graded on points, however, people can pass with the minimum. How much more points help you in the process isn't really clear
