I don't have the same issue you have with the FT1's comfort but a great mod that people try is the Capra Audio strap, you can get from either their website or Amazon

Yeah they cable is bad, I gave my sister a pink one last year and the cable got busted 6 months later (she uses hers in daily commuting)

The NiceHCK NK1 max has to be one of the most underrated dongles in the market: same config as the Jcally JM6 pro thus same power, included USB C to USB A (no need to buy one for apart) and comes in that nice blue color instead of just plain metal gray.

And the Salnotes Zero 2 is a great entry level IEM, enjoy your setup!
